You have claimed that animals are instinctive beings, humans are animals, in fact humans are one of the animals that have sex for fun, dolphins would be another, bonobos, I'm sure there are others, what are you trying to say? Humans are not animals? Please clarify...

Until he shows some mechanism for the expansion he is just spinning his wheels...

I was hoping for a stable orbit inside Earth's moon, any chance of that? Maybe a resonance orbit?

I think Rachel does it much better! I'd almost be willing to just watch Rachel wash and comb her hair..

I think it will end by Trump allying with Putin to repulse the alien invasion and in return for Russia's help they will turn Alaska back over to Russia. No trace of the aliens will ever be recovered due to the immense weapons of the Russians which destroy the aliens completely. I forgot, due to Trumps brave stance in the face of alien invasion Trump will receive the Medal of Honor and will be named president for life by Putin and the US will become a satellite state of the Russians...

Yeah, I'm a sexy senior citizen... A new thread could probably be started on the morality of a woman having this woman's hair!

Animal carcasses found in buried Antarctic lake
Moontanman replied to Itoero's topic in Science News
Makes me wonder if one a very cold planet could like evolve into large forms under very cold conditions.. -
Proving another genesis
Moontanman replied to john.calixte's topic in Evolution, Morphology and Exobiology
Other bases are being used in artificial life forms, the scientists call it XNA. Silicon might work under very cold conditions, Silicone might work in very hot conditions, maybe with sulfuric acid as a working fluid, I'm betting any life will be based on carbon or maybe and I mean a very small maybe, Boron. -
Are all matter/anti matter living, in some sense
Moontanman replied to Dankfinger's topic in Other Sciences
Now your reasons for that would be interesting... -
Proving another genesis
Moontanman replied to john.calixte's topic in Evolution, Morphology and Exobiology
It would depend on how similar the life found off earth was to life on earth... If for instance life was found on Titan it would be so different from earth life it would have to be a second genesis of life. -

Where exactly is all the antimatter? -
I think you need to clarify this and give your evidence for it. It reads like a nonsensical rambling... How can antimatter figure into it? Why does non life need to consume anything? How can life consume everything? Please clarify...

We are animals, how can we be better than animals? Please define what you mean by better than animals... Religion is a way? A way to what? How can belief in fairy tales be a way to rationality? What do you mean by impartiality?

Until you propose a mechanism for the Earth to expand your ideas fall flat. It's like you are trying to prove the moon and the sun are the same size in the sky while rejecting the heliocentric model of the solar system...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_spider There are social spiders that are both herbivores and carnivores certain species of both types display social behaviors, taking car of young, sharing food and various other social traits. None appear to be as advanced as insects, it should be said there are also social crustaceans and at least one land crustacean said to be dangerous to humans...

Are ground source heat pumps reversible, for heat storage?
Moontanman replied to Ken Fabian's topic in Engineering
Are you talking about using ground water directly as a heat sink? Groundwater moves, it is generally not static, this effect should have an effect on direct ground water use or sealed buried pipes... -
Can you show a relationship between speed and gravity?

You are going to have to be a bit more precise than that, If we have talked about this before I don't remember it... what are you on about exactly?

How would you create zebrafish with lungs?
Moontanman replied to Jamess's topic in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
You can't create a zebra fish with lungs, zebrafish do not have lungs... If all you are going to do is make baseless assertions about evolution then I suggest you go back to answers in genesis, I'm sure they can make up a story to placate your insecurities about your ancestry... -
So what are you on about? If you are going to get smacked get smacked for being direct not tap dancing around...

If you have a sub woofer crank it up! Great mix of this classic song...

I could direct you to a series of long videos that hash this out with Alan Guth, Hawking, Penrose, and many other leading cosmologists. It describes a cyclic universe with no singularity. I'm watching the series and trying to keep my head from exploding... I'm not sure if it would be allowed but it has my attention big time... It is extremely interesting and requires my absolute attention to even follow the bare basics. But it does explain how the universe creates itself... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kbHBBtsrU1g&list=PLJ4zAUPI-qqqj2D8eSk7yoa4hnojoCR4m

Are ground source heat pumps reversible, for heat storage?
Moontanman replied to Ken Fabian's topic in Engineering
Not very far, less than a meter in many areas, we live on a cretaceous sand pile. You can dig a well with a water hose, lots of shark teeth and small bones are often brought to the surface when drilling a well... The groundwater is usually anoxic and at one time if you dug a hole would would flow out under pressure, still does in a few places like boiling springs lake. I use to scuba dive and in the bottom of some lakes there would often be what looked like a sand fountain as water flowed up through the sand... If you go deep enough you run into a layer of marl which is mined for concrete and graveling roads... The small quakes are called the seneca guns, I've heard and felt them many times, they are usually written off as offshore methane clathrate releases... -

There is no local tectonic activity, the water table here is ~70 degrees, might be 68 to 72, I'd have to look it up to be sure but it has to do with the average air temps from what I've been told...
