No. You either have one universe or you have multiple (independent) universes. What does it mean for multiple universes to be part of the same universe? There is absolutely no evidence for inflation (but no evidence against it).

You mean the one where you have added the irrelevant (and unchanging) water vapour level in order to dishonestly hide the change in CO2 level? No, can’t see anything wrong with that at all.
-
No one said any of those things. Citation needed.

And linguistics (in pretty much all branches) meets these requirements. There can be a certain about of subjectivity and judgment in some areas (eg. in reconstructing proton-languages) but the methodology is generally rigorous.

The Nobel Prizes are award by a variety of institutions: https://www.nobelprize.org/the-nobel-prize-organisation/prize-awarding-institutions/

I had forgotten that. (I should have been more generic about people claiming credit ...)

Bethe did not contribute, but was listed as an author. That annoyed Alpher because having two prominent scientists listed diminished his role (and it was nearly all his work).
-
Not quite the same, but Ralph Alpher (who was a PhD student at the time) wrote a paper with his supervisor George Gamow. Gamow thought it would be funny to add his friend Hans Bethe as second author (because it sounds like α, β, and γ). Alpher resented this at the time and for decades after. And, of course, there is a bit of a history of senior researchers getting Nobel Prizes for work that their (often female) students or colleagues did (structure of DNA, discovery of pulsars).

Can you confirm that "range" means 7 in this case (not, 8,1)? Can you say whether "I don't know all the digits" means that why don't know any digits, or they know some digits (but not all)? I can't yet see any way of concluding that from the information given. (But maybe one of the smarter guys who have been thinking about this for longer, will do!)

Singularities are not "things"; they are failures in the mathematics. There is a singularity at time 0 in the Big Bang if you extrapolate the theory back to where it is no longer valid. Also, the Big Bang was not an event so talking about "before the Big Bang" doesn't really make sense. Apart from that, it is not clear what you are saying. In the standard Big Bang model, space was full of particles (a quark gluon plasma at the earliest time we have theories for). Space then expanded and cooled allowing other particles and then matter to form. How is this different from what you are saying? There are many "multiverse" theories. This sounds a bit like eternal inflation: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eternal_inflation But why? What is the point of making stuff up that is not based on any science nor supported by any evidence?

Good example. That may be the field where amateurs make the most contributions.

The Heisenberg uncertainty principle is very specifically about pairs of observables in quantum theory. What would it be a property of, if not nature? That is an "uncertainty principle" in genetics inspired by the Heisenberg uncertainty principle. The Heisenberg uncertainty principle is only a quantum phenomenon.

If you are talking about publishing a scientific paper then it isn't necessary. But you may lack the knowledge and experience to write a paper that would be accepted. There are occasional papers published by non-specialists working with experts in the field. For example, I think there was a paper published on the migratory habits of snails based on some work done by an amateur scientist for a TV program in the UK. I am not aware of anything like that in physics, though. There seems to be more opportunity for amateurs to make breakthroughs in mathematics.

That is not for you to decide. Unless you don't believe that justice should be served.
-
No, but your argument seemed a bit confused. You seemed to be saying she wouldn't have the right to enter the country because she wouldn't be the primary carer if she was in prison. (Also, she could still be the primary carer in prison; some prisons allow mothers to look after their children.) She will be charged if it seems likely that she has broken any laws. She will be found guilty if there is sufficient evidence that she did, in fact, break those laws. If neither of those conditions are met and she remains free then, I'm afraid, justice will have been served.

For as long as you need to protect it! Many companies rely on "trade secrets" to protect their technology. This might be because they don't think it is worth the cost of patenting, or is not actually patentable.
-
She is not in prison, she has not been convicted or even charged with anything. Therefore she is the primary carer and may have the right to enter the UK on that basis. If she did that, then she *might* be arrested and charged. What happens in terms of care of the child would be up to the courts. (We are back to due process.)
-
I would disagree with that as well (except historically). But further discussion would be off topic!
-
Just heard someone on BBC R4 say that Bangladesh have said she is not a citizen, they know nothing about her and don't want her! He went on to say that she would probably be entitled to come to the UK anyway, as the primary carer of a British citizen.

The selected item should be highlighted in the HTML page when selected. I would guess that one of the higher level divs might be what you want (eg. .sideNavBox) As for the code required, it would be something like: div.sideNavBox { background-color: lightblue; } https://www.w3schools.com/css/css_background.asp

That appears to be the justification: https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-47301623
