Can you provide a reference to this (old galaxies having less dark matter)? It is not something I have come across before. Don't worry. I found it. Their conclusion matches what I guessed (which is always nice :)); part of the reason may be that the dark matter just hadn't had time to condense in to halos dense enough to have as much effect as in modern galaxies..

He says that space and space-time cannot exist apart from matter and energy. To me this means something different from "can't exist without".
-
It was you that claimed your "logic" trumped evidence.
-
This is bizarre and ironic. The proof that the reals are not countable (represent a "larger infinity") requires one to pick values from an infinite set. Calculating probability doesn't.

You aren't interested, but here you go: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/General_relativity
-
OK. So you are not interested in science. Have fun in the darkness.

Told you the house always wins!
-
Or zero. Which is why the house always wins.

The person being called should block the number(s) they are calling from. The police will see through that, if they are calling so often that it is a problem it obviously isn't "accidental". You They could also report them to the phone company for inappropriate behaviour.

We have a theory of gravity that matches, very accurately, what we observe. It doesn't include either pull or push. It is also the basis the Big Bang model. Can your idea do better?
-
How about if we change it to: "choose any card that exists"? Or are you claiming that an infinite deck of cards has no cards that exist?
-
You could form a team of people who want to work on a patent but you definitely do not want to discuss the content of the patent on the forum. Otherwise, as swansont says, the published information will count as prior art and invalidate the patent.

I do.

What is wrong with you? It is a study of the relationship between birth date (season) and IQ. Can you show anything about their methodology or analysis that is flawed? Come on, you claim to have a high IQ, show us where they have gone wrong. Or are you rejecting it, without even reading it, because of your blind faith in your wild guess?
-
I was commenting on the ridiculousness and irrelevance of Scherzo's objection. Obviously, Lord Antares is also correct that an infinite set can have a start.
-
THEN STOP CLAIMING IT IS TRUE. When there is ZERO reason to think it is. You don't need to do a study. You can find lots of studies that have already been done. But you are so convinced that your ridiculous idea is correct, you just reject them If the effect on IQ were as large as you claim, it would be really obvious. Really, really obvious. There would have been newspaper headlines. People would be planning when their children were born. And, if you were willing to learn, the feedback you have received here could help you. As it is, you are too stubborn to learn anything that you disagree with.
-
So you know how good their memory was from when they were born. And this confirms your "theory" that memory is related to birthdate. Do you not realise how monumentally stupid that is? https://www.logicallyfallacious.com/tools/lp/Bo/LogicalFallacies/53/Begging-the-Question Even if true (*) this proves nothing. https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Cherry_picking (*) You provide no support or references for this and so, based on the reliability of things you say, I assume it is not true.
-
There are an infinite number of integers. There is therefore no first or last integer. You can still "pick a number, any number".
-
How do you know what either Volta's or Newton's memory was like? But also: Stop this idiotic line of discussion. You cannot deduce anything from a few cherry picked examples.
-
Stop it. This is irrelevant. Why do you keep going on about it. No one with any intelligence would do that.
-
So what? How is this relevant? Who said you do? Because your claims are ridiculous. (From the Latin for laughable.) You need to do a course in critical thinking. (Which apparently doesn't correlate with intelligence.)
-
This is all utterly irrelevant. You can't draw any conclusions about general trends from one or two individuals. If you were as smart as you think you are, you would realise this.
