i have an led tv , before some time when i was sitting in front of it [and it was off] i saw a colour spectrum on its screen formed by light coming through a near by window ? how this can happen ?

will someone explain it in a simpler way , still I dint get it . 'please'

before some time when some renovation work was going on my house i noted that when carpenter was making the wooden bar plane and shiny by using his blade , every peel of wood was curled , can any body tell me why that was happened why they wasn't flat ?

i dont think so how can a metal loss make its surface black , my brother told that it can cause due to high potential difference b/n both ends and i think it is related to some rxn of zinc sulphide from which its white inner surface is made of ?

why tubes get blackned at the ends after some times and which substance does it ?
