I too have read of such phenonema,however it had nothing to do with clouds.Groups of people,mainly explorers say in the arctic have seen a city in the sky.i think it could be real and something to do with the atmosphere,has it is always seen on the horizon.Maybe certain cloud formations reflect the light for a short period and project the image.

With respect jakiri you have the rights as a civilian to ask me to stop smoking,and i the right to refuse.However if we are on public transport or in a hospital im forced not to smoke and damn right!! A cold blooded,sadistic killer of children however..in my opinion should lose all rights.They have killed and will continue to kill unless incarcerated.There victims have no rights do they??the b***d took them away. I fail to see some peoples logic when arguing for incarceration over death.The former costs the taxpayer a fortune,the second a cheap affordable means to rid us of these vermin(thats the only classification i can think of because they are not human) Im not advocating just anybody being put to death(a 3 strikes afro-american who gets incacerated for beating his prostitute spouse) im talking of our most devient,serial killers. Im more than content, when some states in America stand up to rest of the nation.And continue to fry them,showing that at least common sense prevails somewhere on this PC planet.

I dont know about other countries but in the uk,our most violent,sadistic,perverted killers go to jail.Were their stay is one of sheer comfort,coloured tv,books,gym,open university degrees etc etc. Hardly the correct punishment for such horrendous crimes,to some life means life,to us the tax payer we pay a small fortune for THEIR privelage of life.Its not economically viable,its sole intent is to remove them from society until they die of natural causes. I wish that capital punishment was reintroduced in the UK..and all the do-gooders who speak up for these psycho's rights should be made to share a cell for a week with them,for educational purposes...and thats if they come out !!!

yes fine 5614,i wasnt being argumentative just letting you know.I build comps for people and get rid of nasty microsoft stuff,all im saying is xp only does a 'soft' format.If you had a serious virus unfortunately it would still be there.Do you know how to format and partition your HD from DOS.This is more effective but tiresome,Powerquest drive image is an excellent program to have.After you actually do a full format and have installed all the programs you need,wait a week or so to see if you have a stable setup,then you image your comp to cd's using powerquest.Then whenever you do a full format again you simply load the disc image and your comp is perfect again in around 30 mins.I always use this method as i format my comp at least once a month.I loath all the crap the internet shots on my puter. I have Adware/reg mechanic/w,washer/search n destroy/cw shredder/kill this/spyware shredder etc,etc....but nothing is as refreshing as a format heh heh

5614 glad you enjoyed screwing your comp up,but your version of formatting your comp isnt really formatting.All you were really doing is a fresh install of xp.Formatting is done from DOS,you really need a millenium boot up disc.btw BSOD is almost always a memory fault. If you had been unfortunate to get a serious virus you would not be able to get rid of it formatting the way you describe.Yt seemed to be up to scratch on defrag but FAT32 is oh so crap NTFS is the kiddie.

Thats unfair sayo...ive been trying my best to only be critical of misinformed scientific opinion,which some here try to persuade others as fact. Ive also tried to be more considerate to fellow users,i have posted personal apologies to members and a public apology for my conduct here.I had not realised until directed that some of my posts seem aggresive.I am making every effort to continue my rehabilitation....and hopefully with encouragement and support i can contribute more to the forum.After all i do think i make valid points on occasion. Sorry for not making it clear enough.As you keep mentioning dissolve,the white specs are just minute fragments of the crystals.Its more a case of the crystals disintegrating over time.you are supposed to change them after a year or so.

I think the subject of life after death, hasnt been given enough serious thought here.Regardless of religion or lack of,its a conceited view to presume we superior humans should live on,in this spiritual utopia. As i get older, i find myself unable to ignore life after death experiences,that people report.Its my opinion that indeed there is some form of existence after death,but not solely for humans.It would be ridiculus to accept meeting ones relatives, in a nice lush grassy garden eating clottered cream scones.As the scenario for life after death. I believe that consciousness is universal when the spark of life leaves our bodies it returns to the whole and becomes one.As individuals we try to comprehend our place as seperate entities,but i suggest our consciousness are only parts of the whole. Take an ant from the colony it still functions but is lost.Replace it back into the colony and it knows its place and purpose.I realise this is simplified somewhat but this explains quite reasonably my believe that the Universe is a conscious entity. I believe as our brains have evolved,we have became more in tune with this realisation we are more than flesh and blood,religions were created from enlightenment,from many gods to the universally held believe in one GOD.Most if not all enlightened peoples over the centuries have taught to look for god within ones self,and i see this is a logical progression of our species brain evolving.Not all of us will reach the end to the journey,were the living flesh and blood human realises its place in the scheme of existence.For most we will return to the whole without ever realising we lived,For some the glorious appreciation of the physical form experienced.
