I know its not just light from a cannon, and spiraling something that is being moved from point A to point B over an open medium has the tendency to dissipate less. I have absolutely no idea how to spiral light, Lasers wern't even part of my OP or in the title. But if i had to venture a guess, Magnets can spiral laser beams. because a laser is emitted Em, and we manipulate the EM spectrum by using the Properties of Electric Currents Through Spiraling Mediums as well as Magnetic Properties of similar things.

i hate the food here, and im trying to loose/ maintain a weight. Also if you could have such a powder then you can also mix it your own way to provide extra stuff to what you need. For instance if your doing more muscle building and a little more protein to the powered. if you are having bad craps then add some more fiber.. and so on. What i am trying to do here is mix my bodies constant need for water with smaller meals, ie instead of eating 8 meals a day that consist of 1/5 of whatever, drink constantly where the meal content is even smaller. they say your metabolism increases with eating food, and they say that eating smaller meals more often is healthier. so why not take it to the extreme? why not eat constantly and drink constantly.

yes, not on the same antenna of course, although i do believe you could do something like that by superimposing the waveforms onto a carrier wave. but then you would have to calculate the frequency or amplitude shift from doing that. Not that those calculations are a problem, but lets see if it is even possible to send burst type communications over radio before we make it complicated with carrier waves.

maybe thats because lasers are mostly just light shot out of a barrel, similar to muskets. maybe if you were to spiral the laser you wouldn't have such wide distribution.

Can you Transmit energy across vast distances without too much loss? I was thinking what if we covered something like mars in solar panels and transmitted the energy using maybe Microwave or something to a station on earth?

Is it possible to create a sort of Burst communication style? what i am thinking is a communicating style that is based off of binary and Amplitude modulated or maybe Frequency modulated waveforms. Maybe something like this for FM: 0 = 5-15 1 = 20-30 0 = 35-45 1 = 50-60 it may be possible to calculate the wave for proper transmission over vast distances, and due to its "burst" technique it would be technically faster, because it is sending the entire message all at once? The broadcast method would be 4 or 8 antennas broadcasting simultaneously parts of the wave, IE antenna 1,3 broadcast both 0 value waves, and 2,4 broadcast both 1 value waves.

Oh, sorry i was/am still pissed off at my itunes. let me rephrase that. Is there any way to increase the functionality of Itunes from near 0 to something worth it? Reason why I got Itunes in the first place: I have never been a fan of Apple anything, However i decided (against my better judgment apparently) to try Itunes and a Ipod Touch. now the Ipod touch is pretty cool. It does what i expect it to do, and it does what i expect other mp3 players to do, that being a basic computer. IE like a PDA. Problems I have with Itunes: 1) Its advertising is probably the biggest turn off ever. I don't want to look to my right and see a giant advertisement advertising every freaking song i don't have. 2) Its Coverage of Album artwork, now i know that not every cd is in a database somewhere with everything you ever wanted to know about a band. But COMMON, at least it should have the mainstream OR it should allow you to add your own because I can search for it and find it.. in about 2 seconds. 3) It DUPLICATES items, and then SHOWS me them and i cant do a damned thing about

Good point. I also agree with Phi, His conclusions are right on the money. The assumption that it is better to accept their cruel advantage payed in blood, only stands on a very sandy foundation. Morally yes, it is better. But that moral is one that started the hatred between two cultures, that is religion. But since America is a christian oriented moral land, I and many others, would agree that it is better to pay in blood than kill a child. I am just terrified waiting for the day when the atrocity of an army of children attack us, forcing our hand. But lets delve into another aspect of this, Is it morally corrupt to kill the children terrorists for self preservation? Would you consider these soldiers and many many others morally corrupt because they have and will pull the trigger?

I would agree, i also missed the children. In fact one of the MAIN dangers to any aircrew member, whether it be a pilot, gunner, or whatever, is task saturation. The environment aboard a plane mentally is very taxing. there are SOOO many things going on at once. between radio calls, keeping the plane in the air, and so on. I would be surprised if these guys were not task saturated. However in the case of the children, a common fact is that, they too can be/are terrorists. or like i said in a previous comment, they are being used as bullet shields. IE If you were manning a DFP (defensive fighting point) and you saw a unauthorized van approach, A) you saw a child in the passanger seat. would you fire? or B) you saw 2 or 1 adult(s) in the front. would you fire? Terrorists/ insurgents aren't dumb people. They know how to distract you, they know how to dance around our laws our LOAC, and our ROE'S. for the most point they try to use deception tactics to screw with us like that.

You won't ever notice the difference between a innocent civilian passerby-er and a insurgent using guerrilla tactics. that's the problem with war now a days, there is not Uniform Versus Uniform war its all insurgency. but if you think about it, why the hell would some group of individuals be walking into a apparently abandoned building when there was fighting just a few blocks down? isn't most peoples instinct to run? now i do not know if those were innocents or not, but IMO IMO i would have fired too. if they were not civilians then were they hiding a cache of weapons there? would those weapons be rpg's that can kill helicopters? or ak's that are going to be used for an ambush? The truth about war is insurgents use civilians as bullet shields, it doesn't do much for them but it makes a much smaller force much more powerful by playing a game of attrition, but not your normal one. One that is waged on the attacking countries civilian minds. If the insurgents win then they have successfully swayed the minds of the attacking country to stop the war because of civilian deaths. If they loose, then they loose, and their people don't like them due to their insurgent tactics. If their people do not like them then they don't receive support, money, bodies, safe houses, guns, ammo, intelligence...

I like how you compare the effects of ONE biological agent to the effects caused by ~10,000 nukes. how about we take it pound for pound agian. 10,000 biological weapons and 10,000 nukes all detonated at the same time. The results are the same, all humans will die. But like i said before pound for pound Biological weapons are far more dangerous than nuclear. 1 biological agent could wipe out the entire world, 1 nuke could blow a pretty big hole in ONE city.

You are severely wrong, Biological agents exist as of RIGHT now that can Destroy the entire population of the world. You don't hear about them because of their need to be classified. Just take for a moment a simple thought process. You have AIDS, a presently incurable disease that is spread via sexual intercourse, contact with an infected persons blood, saliva and mucus. Now just genetically mix or modify it with something like Ebola or some other disease that kills, and Viole you have a biological agent that is incurable, easily spread and will kill millions upon millions.

You apparently are still underestimating the sheer magnitude of Biological and chemical agents. Lets say we have an equivalent sized mass of Nuclear and biological agent. about 10grams each. lets say that the choice spreader/exploder mechanism is also the same. Both are going to be aerial bust. The 10 grams of Biological agent has been manufactured to take 1 month to incubate. so the burst happens over a city like Chicago and people don't notice it for whatever reason. In that 1 month period the biological agent has now spread: 1.) everyone in the city 2.) everyone that flew out of the city 3.) all of the cities that had incoming flights from chicago estimated death toll: ALL major cities in North America, AND major cities All other continents. Virtually 1/3 of the worlds population could be infected in 1 month, the other 2/3 of the worlds population could be infected as well. the biological agent is only inhibited by areas that are not frequently traveled, such as villages in south Africa, South America and various islands.
