We have all of our theories dealing with physics, quantum physics, thermodynamics and such. But each one of these just describes a different component of matter and energy relationships. My idea is to just take all of these concepts and apply what nature seems to be showing us. That is balance. If i were to actually research this idea (after i actually take years worth of courses and dissect each field) the equation would in fact be HUGE (as in magnitude not groundbreaking.. but it could be groundbreaking as well). the whole concept lies in taking each field and putting it into the right area of the equation. also you cant forget that the equation in the end is supposed to equal zero. Now that i think about it, i don't believe that such an equation would even break any laws. such as the law of the conservation of energy, or other laws of thermodynamics.

that's what i'm thinking. just a simple powder that contains everything your body needs, and you just mix it with water. EG. you need 25 grams of the powder to maintain a full day's caloric intake, so you mix your 25 grams to 6 or 9 liters of water, and just drink it all day.

is it possible to go through out the whole day slowly drinking in your caloric intake and getting all of the nutrients you need? I was thinking about making a powder of some sort that is low in everything, added to water, and you mix a amount that is proportional to what you would be eating in that particular time of the day. eventually by the end of the day you could consume the right amount of nutrition to maintain your caloric needs, and by constantly consuming the low everything powder (mixed in water) it could maintain a high metabolism. would such a thing be healthy?

you are probably right about their being an investigation into the military, but i do seriously doubt if there will be any real reprocussions. Many of the reprocussions you hear about on the news and such really dont affect us nearly to the degree as what the media or politics try to portend.

I remember a certain type of helicopter i was shown back in tech school where the gunny sat a seat in it. i just cant for the life of me remember the damn name of the helicopter.

oh, and besides that the caption at the bottom was wrong at times, and did not include other radio calls being made. the other radio calls could be understood and may have had to do with the scene however they may not have coincided with the point the video cut to and trying to make. For instances if your trying to make it look like these guys are playing a video game then you don't put xray lima mike "out" you put xray lima mike "oh" there were several little details like that that subtlety could make you believe the statement that the speech was similar to someone playing a video game. i saw many discrepancies with what was written and what was said. many of those discrepancies lead validation to the video game theory when in actuality those discrepancies were just the regular format for radio calls. Well, after the one guy was injured and the van was coming to pick up. IMO what the gunner said was more of an act of mercy than any sort of sadistic video game speech. He wanted to kill the guy not wound him, hence why he wanted the guy to pick up a gun. Also it should be noted that they did feel guilt and compassion about injuring the little girl, but in their mindset their thought process was that they could do nothing about it so they said "oh well". actually it is pretty easy to justify that, one bullet that makes it into the inside of the Helo can ricochet and enter the cockpit and kill the pilot or damage critical flying instruments. Not necessarily, Geneva Conventions try to make moderate war. Geneva conventions were basically enacted to remove the BC in NBC scope of war. it tries to force either death or wounding without side effects, case and point the removal of triangular wound causing implements such as knives and bayonets. the triangular shape of the bayonets would cause severe wounds and take a much greater time to heal.. if they heal at all.

The simple explanation as to why biological and chemical weapons are in the same catagory as nuclear weapons, is because biological and chemical weapons can cause more deaths and can inflict extreme pain. Also you have to take into account the moral effect of Chemical and Biologial weapons. personally i would classify chemical and biological with nuclear based on those factors. Hell, atleast nuclear is a quick death (if your killed by the blast) as opposed to various nerve and chokeing agents, or extreme biological toxins that kill you weeks or months after but keeping you bedridden.

I really like the inflamed opinion of the comments posted by arrogant people. People that are severely misinformed but believe what they see is everything, every detail, every fact. People that accept without testing or doubting. its either arrogance or ignorance.. i really cant decide which.

i would believe that the anwer is quite simple. Yes, religion does affect happiness. dependent on your religious belief because as a child your parents instill morals based upon the religion. Your happiness is dependent on how you react to your morals.

Has anyone ever noticed that the politics and actions of the worlds super powers don't coencide with how a power would act if it was in the same position. IE military testing, for military testing many of the worlds super powers tell the other countries that it is going to be testing and such on such 'n such day at such n'such time and they are going to be shooting such n such rocket/missle that doest make any sense to me, why would someone want to do such a thing when military stuff is supposed to be kept secret from other countries?

Here is my take on the theory of everything. please bear with me, I take my concept of the theory of everything from Taoism, in that in everything there is balance and both sides of the that balance total to equal zero. Now taking that into account here it is: E_1 = E_2 E_1 - E_2 = 0 E_1 is energy E_2 is also energy i know that sounds ridiculous because obviously energy is going to equal energy. But you cant quite think of it like that, rather one energy is not quite equal to another form of energy. Let me try to put it into perspective. lets say that in a system you have Heat energy (denoted as H_e), Light energy (L_e) Momentum (M_E) and so forth. in order to balance the above equation so e-e = 0 you would have to have the right values in each. lets say that L_E = 3 while H_e = 2 and M_E = .0125 we could say that L_e = E_1 and then in order to balance it we would put something to the effect of H_e= E_2 and 8M_e = E_2 E_1 = 3 E_2 = (H_E)+8(M_E)= 3 E_1= 3 E_2 = 3 E_1= E_2 E_1 - E_2 = 0 we know light energy is everywhere and so on.. so i give it a higher value than heat energy or momentum.. heat energy is also everywhere but i dont think it has the same proportion of energy level as light does.. where as momentum has even less because it is dependent on movement. But anyways the idea is that you have 2 or 80000 different types of energies in the wold of physics, and in those we do know that there are several types of energies that counteract with each other and try to zero one another. such as gravity and momentum or, well thats the only thing i can think of right now.. but you get the idea.. Please pick this idea apart and lets see what comes of it.

I believe the best definition of free-will is one that implies that you have the "free will" to act within a set boundary. Secular EG: An atom is not going to violate laws of physics because it can, it is going to act as it can under those laws Theologically EG: We cannot think a thought that God(s) have not thought of first. of course theologically it does depend on which religion your talking about.

if i were to design man, i would have done it with a much more interface able system, ie our current technology is computers, so the body should be able or easily made to be able, to interface with computers.. and when our technology increases, if we find something greater than a computer our body is able to or easily made to be able to, interface with that technology. + i agree with regeneration, mind control over the cardiovascular system and the neurological system, wings, IMO another set of arms( would be nice if i could do more) and a brain that can process multiple tasks much better.. IE i want to be able to view one screen doing 1 thing and another screen doing another thing. Like playing a game while following data produced by that game or stock markets or what not. Removing race would be beneficial to all man, maybe even redesigning the essence of the human body itself to allow it to be MUCH more adaptable to different environments, such as a human that can breath water. or one that can live on mars. and so on.

I would have to agree, i find that the speculation entity to be rather unused. Personally, i have a lot of ideas and if i post them i try to put them in an accurate sub-forum and try not to put it into the speculation sub-forum due to its inactivity. Most people do not read it or have no interest in reading someone else's probable misplaced thought processes on varying topics. IMO it is very unfortunate that speculation is neigh taboo in the scientific community, where else do we find innovative ideas to further human technology? Would you have put Leonardo DaVinci's work in speculations he were to post here? Merged post follows: Consecutive posts mergedI think it may be better to name the Speculations subforum to Speculative Science or Speculative Scientific Ideas, to propagate the proper feeling that is supposed to be associated with Speculations and ideas. Such a name also would give the average Joe the idea that it isn't just a garbage sub forum, and naming it such you could move it around much more easily. IMO if it was under the science sub forum, maybe around the amateur science it would attract many more views/posts then where it is currently at. Just think of the Grocery store model, positioning means everything.

Considering that our perception of time and the associated words with it are really just imagined words to explain and imagined phenomena, I would have to say that in your present ideology of time that NO, "yesterday never was". even if there is not future, "If "Tomorrow never comes" there was still a "yesterday" because there is time that has elapsed. However if you remove yourself from the Time argument and place yourself as an outside viewer you would say that neither yes or no is the correct answer. it is not yes because tomorrow never comes however the present is always here. and ,yes, yesterday never happened because what can you even have to prove its existence when the word yesterday just describes an imagined event? But being an outside viewer you could also say no. No to the question of if tomorrow never came then there was no yesterday because it is just the present, and there was no yesterday nor will there be a tomorrow.
