How many members of the Bush admin does it take to

But they did viciously attack the electricity industry for providing low grade electricity. Later reports pointed towards terrorism being at fault, that America should protect the future of it's lightbulbs by eliminating the terrorist threat. -
Space elevators should be around the equator to make best use of centrifugal force. Plus, we told them you'd pay for it.

Doesn't the 9% vote for Bush on the website match the votes cast in Washington? Are Europeans invading Washington in secret? O_o Well, apart from inventing modern architecture and engineering we developed thousands of things that are taken for granted today. Sewer systems, prefabricated housing, democratic government, the modern judicial system, potatoes in the diet, electric lights, telephones, computers, steel, automobiles, the combustion engine, police, vast swathes of literature, universities, the scientific method, tarmac, the stock market, insurance, jet engines, DNA, the sandwich, Australia, cat flaps etc, etc. Modern society may be subject to transient changes, but it's all based on the British model.

Yes, when asked he offered his condolences to a slightly confused Palestine. Comedy.

Well' date=' since GTA has an age limit on it preventing minors from using the game, then the whole issue of the 'poor kiddies' doesn't cut any ice. It's the same as discussing hardcore porn, it's got an age limit to prevent the kiddies watching it. The first 'mission' I played on the game introduced me to two of the lead characters old gang members. One had become a crack dealer and one called 'Bear' had become an emancipated crack addict who was the subservient slave of the crack dealer. I thought that was a very strong message about choices, the scene was more dramatic than I'd expect from a game. All in all, I was quite surprised at the details in the game. The way you have to eat healthy to say fit, exercise to keep fit etc sets a nice example for real life.

*sigh* at least it's only a 4 year rule. Pehaps he'll do a Yeltsin and turn back to drink, for comedy purposes.

That's why I said perverted, and not imply they were exactly the same.

I thought the Republicans were some form of Conservatives? Perverted to the service of evil of course.

The GTA developers are Scottish, and the original idea of the game was a light bit of mockery. It's not so much glorifying the lifestyle than the movies about the lifestyle, the gun culture in America and the lack of consequences TV/Films present to people. You can guess how suprised the Scottish guys were that the US loved the games so much, and how little outcry there was over it. They seem to be pushing the limits with this new release, apparently it's a lot darker. It's still an emotional release though, like a stress toy. Even the last game, Vice City, encouraged two kids in America to emulate the game. I don't doubt this one will to. Perhaps it's not so much the developers fault, but the fault of a country where firearms are almost as easy to obtain as they are within the game. It may be a parody for entertainment value, but as you pointed out it's not far off target. If it's a mirror of society, perhaps we ought to be looking closer at the society rather than blaming a video game for highlighting it.

I miss Al Gore .

It told me I'm a Statist, which is laughable.

It doesn't matter if Bush has a magic space camel, it doesn't really change anyone's opinion of the war. We don't blindly follow anybody, not even if he does have mandibles. Seriously, the anti war rally in the UK drew over a million protesters in London. That's the largest protest ever held in the UK, and Blair ignored it. Ministers resigned, saying the decision to go to war was not subject to the democratic process in Britain. That upset a lot of people, even the war supporters. In some ways the decisions surrounding Iraq highlighted the autonomy Blair misuses, which is a really worring thing. The Prime Minister is not like a President, he is supposed to be subject to control by the people via parliament.

I like the way a 'liberal' is an 'extremist'. Bit like Jesus and Gandhi, those bastards.

It's worth pointing out Kerry has won the second largest number of popular votes in history. I don't think the Kerry campaign will begin filing lawsuits, that's something only Bush has done after losing the last election. To quote Homer Simpson 'Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand'.

Funny thing, the Government elections in the UK have a set limit on campaign funds. The funds are realistic, under 1 million in total. It puts the politicitions in the odd position of having to convince voters using the normal channels of communication, rather than relying on advertising, buzz words, clever catch phrases, two minute time slots and media blitzes. It the same for most democratic countrys thease days. It means that in theory anybody can run, without first having to be super rich. For some reason, the super rich tend to be out of touch with the average man. I can't think why.

I keep telling you, you can't vote in communism. It doesn't work like that.

Oh. Yes. What's the symbolism then?

Why was eating fruit a good idea?

Heh, that's because I'm buzy at the moment. I haven't told anyone it existed for them to join. I'm going to invite the religious trolls to it, for a free discussion that's not going to result in bannage.

Hurrah, I knew that American 'independance' was just a fad. You owe us some tea, btw. I've been to Gettysburg, and all I got were pictures of cannonballs. Perhaps your camera had a mark on the lens? SHOW US THE PICTURES!!!!!!11111222
