I think it is a decayed isotope, something that is a by product of nuclear energy production. Amercainum, americanim, something like that. It is quite stable for a few years, although there are only v small amounts. The older models, and industrial models, will have larger amounts of the isotope. The word Placebo is Latin loosely translated as 'I shall please'. It's usually an inert or pointless substance.
