The act only bans certain semi-auto weapons. Fully automatic weapons were dealt with in the National Firearms Act of 1934. Which outlawed civilian ownership of automatic weapons without a federal permit.

You mean liberals dont attack the right in the UK? Wow you guys really are different. And I dont think the differences are as huge as you make them out to be. Right conservatives in the US have similar stances to the right conservatives in the UK. Really, prove that these governments are the cause of the suicides. I do not have access to the actual report and so am forced to go off of what I am given and what I am given says that this is pure speculation. From what the article tells me, they found the suicide rates during different administrations and then attempt to relate the two. So Im going to sit here and say bullshit until better proof is offered. Whatever, my original statement had nothing to do with the article, but was meant as a refutation of budullewraagh ignorant claim, so take it as you will. Dont rally care if you believe me or not, once you've had a Drill Seargeant on your ass the critcisms of others lose a lot of power. But its okay to use them to push a liberal point across, rightttttt, yah, we arent being hypocritical at all are we. "Oh, its just tearing me up inside how you damn conservatives are trying to twist this into a political issue." Sorry bud, it wasnt the conservative right who wrote this swill, all I see is a pathetic attempt to link conservative governments to suicide. Just who the hell is doing the politicing here? Certainly aint the right, which leaves just one other option. And why is it I think your lying about the "I work with suicidal people bit?"
-
actually I've become more liberal in certain regards over the past 2 years, but thats more due to accepting a Libertarian viewpoint than the military. The reason the military is so conservative, from my expierence, is because conservatives are more likely to serve than liberals.
-
it was huge news a while back, to hear a lot of people talk this nation was going to erupt into a blood bath, the stupid people thought that the end of the ban would mean having uzis in all your gun stores. real assault weapons were illegal long before this ban.
-
its federal, you mean you actually live in the US and have never heard of the assault weapons ban? Not that it ever banned much, just cosmetic features and little things like bayonnett mounts. You can own a bayonnet, you can own a rifle, but you cant attach the two, talk about stupid.

And the so are the lengths that liberals will go to to demonize the right, this article being one example. This whole thing is probably the most circumstantial and unscientific piece of garbage I've read in years. Hmmm? were do you guys get this swill? Simply pointing out that people die, no matter what the type of government. Its not generalization, its not speculation, its fact: I have been in the military for almost 2 years now, now dont you feel like an idiot.
-
Apparrently forever.
-
What prominance? Anyways this whole thing is way too circumstantial to even be taken seriously. You have conveneintly overlooked this last bit: This article is humerous due to the total BS that it is
-
People die under left wing governments as well. Care to guess at how many died under Mao?
-
That would be why the military is so firmly right wing, even those who have been in combat. Im really enjoying your debate style here budullewraagh, so easy to simply call the right fools rather than actually *debate.*
-
Prisons are too soft, perhaps some real punishment is in line... Justice must still be dealt, are we to let rapists and murders simply get off scott free?
-
Hmmm, you guy's schools sound rather nice. I mean AP Calc, more than one physics class, hell I bet you guys even have a few hundred students in your school, be happy.

"Tiny Bubbles, Are In My Wine! Makes Me Happy, Makes Me Feel Fine!"

My bet is that the suicide rates are more due to the Liberals inability to accept the reality of the situation. Its like, her in the US, Bush wins, the Libs, unable to handle defeat flood Canada's immigration websites. But really, these finding are pretty circumstantial and data like this is so easy to scew to whateve point a person is trying to get across.

What part? Europe is pretty liberal in some aspects, but more conservative in others. For instance take abortion laws in Germany. The US has been far more liberal in this respect.
-
Im struggling to understand this, what your saying, but maybe this will help. Okay. Lets see. You cant go adding the 0.1 mol of Na+ and 0.1 mol of OH- and say you have 0.2 mol. It just doesnt work that way. Either you have 0.1 mol of each substance or you have 0.1 mol of NaOH.
-
It doesnt really matter, the principal is the same. The formula for each is exactly the same pH = -log [H+] and pOH = - log [OH-]. The fact that H+ forms H3O has no effect on the pH since both are the same thing. H+ and H3O are simply two different ways of representing the same thing. As long as we are refering to an aquaes solution.

Highly doubtful. I dont know anything about British laws concerning such things, but since Britian tends to have far stricter rules than the US my guess is that they require rabie shots.

Definition of Carboyhydrate! and Respiration and Photosynthesis
chadn replied to grayfalcon89's topic in Homework Help
Yes, the food chain involves numerous chemical reactions and transfers of energy. Each time energy gets converted to one form or another, or is transfered in some way some of its going to get lost. Its called Entropy. Now there are many finer details that I have not mentioned, but that the gist of it, without writing a whole book. -

Im curious as to how many of you actually hunt. In my own expierence the vast majority of people who dont hunt have no concept of the why hunters hunt or the range of "feelings" that they have. "Fun" in no way adequatly describes the hunt. For me it is a spiritual challenge that goes far beyond any mere amusement. If I was looking for fun, I'd go get hammered or play some halo 2, halo 2, hmmmm, its calling me, gotta go.

Reformation of Brain Structure after death

How exactly does the brain change upon death? I guess I always thought that the cells died, just like when anything dies. -
