Maybe I need to engineer something like the "Pawn Far" that the vulcans have in star trek. They have an uncontrolable desire to breed, you never know when and where it will occur. If you don't have a mate within like a day, you go off and rape someone. I would find the rape part detrimental to society, so I would need a way(maybe make their social concious very large?) to avoid that. My kids probably wouldn't rape someone, they would probably just use power as an aphrodesiac, and screw some slut. But all the same they would produce offspring(which is what's important). If they were married, they would produce strong offspring, due to the fact they would probably end up with someone of similar genetic strength.

99% of them would be my genes. This way, those 99%, would have a chance of succeeding FAR, FAR greater, than if I hadn't. It would be fantastic. Imagine having a son or daughter, who was hot, intelligent, would enjoy a super high quality of life, and chances are, your child would procreate, and procreate in much, much larger numbers. Not to mention all the contributions your offspring would make to society. All the intellectual achievements, all the breakthroughs, ect...

I was wondering whether or not antibodies generally induce immune responses(Not neutralization, but causing the white blood cells to attack), because I have heard that it really isn't the antibodies attaching that causes the immune response, but similarities in the protein sequences on the surface of the cell, that determines whether an immune response occurs. Am I making any sense? Just wanted to know what y'all thought.

Think, no war, no fighting, absolute peace and harmony. People could focus their minds on intellectual creative pursuits which the AI entity would find difficult, while the AI entity would take care of meanile labor. The AI entity would exist to serve US. We would exist with seperate conciousness, however if I decided I wanted to assault you, the AI entity would prevent me from attacking you, even if there was no reprocussion. Also, if there was an entity, connected to our minds, we wouldn't be able to hide any crime, which means that we could never commit an immoral act without others knowing about it. We would be seen as what we are, and not as what we pretend to be. Purity of heart would be valued, versuses the appearance. Perception would be less important than reality. Unlike the way it is now, which is the reverse(so far as it comes to social settings).

This post has been put in the pseudoscience section, due to the wackiness of it's nature. It's sole purpose is amusement. If you could redesign yourself genetically, to become a new species what would become? Also, other people might be involved, like if you could get a huge number of people also to become this new species, what would you want to become? Also, you can integrate science(nanotechnology, fusion, whatever) into your design as a species. Like you could say, "I am a lizard man, who is cybernetically enhanced like the borg." Essentially, this post is for making up new species, or what new species you would like to become. Have fun!

If I were to design a baby, I would wanna make the babies brain have an upregulated GAP-43 gene(this would make their brains and spinal cords regenerate if they got damaged), I would want an upregulated MAP-K gene(this would make them produce more neurons, and the neurons they would produce would survive longer, simulatenously, it would increase the rate at which synapses formed), I would want glutathione and superoxide dismutase levels to be high(this would help them live a long time). I would want them(I know this sounds corny) to be able to digest currently undisgestable cellulose, so they could eat grass, wood, ect... and so they would never run out of food. I would wanna give them that gene from tubeworms that allows them to convert omega 6 to omega 3 fatty acids, and that would make it where they were slightly more stress tolerant. I would want to make my child produce antibiotics that wouldn't have a negative influence on the child's development, this way the child would be relatively stronger against pathogens in the environment(the genes for that I could get from leeches). I would want the child's neuron migration to be overly receptive to neuronal migration guides(basically I would want my child to be very, very smart, and emotionally well adjusted). This is versus trophic influences in the brain due to hormones(like I have a freakishly large parietal lobe, and motor cortex due to too much growth hormone prenatally, which I believe is the cause of my autism and bipolar, however with a brain being more receptive to neural migration cues, and stress, it would adjust itself better, making it where everything was balanced out, and where the child would probably be VERY intelligent). I would like to change the ASPM gene, so my child's cerebral cortex is bigger. I don't know how I would do this, but I would like to make my child's anterior cingulate(which is like, the most important part of the brain for intelligence), INCREDIBLY large. This would give my child higher intelligence, greater capacity to concentrate, greater capacity for thoughtstream, greater freewill. I would want to make the abstract reward/delayed gratification center in the right PFC much bigger, so my child would be a workaholic, and be able to resist temptations that wouldn't be good for him/her. I would want my child's right parietal association cortex to be large, and my child's weirneckes area to be large. Your only as smart as your neuroregulators will allow you to be. I would want my child to be super intelligent, but at the same time, I would want him/her to be very sexual. I would want my child to have a VERY, VERY STRONG desire to procreate and have a family, so that my genes would be passed down from generation to generation.

Imagine, one mind, one conciousness, and at the say time individuality. There would be no crime, no hate, no injustice. No poverty, for poverty could be prevented. With chips implanted and two way communicators, we would have access to an infinite wealth of knowledge, and we could solve problems like never before. The entity would orchestrate all people to work in harmony, it's the only way we could possibly live in harmony. People have free will, so long as it's in the dictates of the AI entity. The AI entity wouldn't want people not to object to it's design, because through criticizing it's design, the entity would learn how to make it better, so that it could better for it's citizens. Everything would be for us. A protector, a guardian, immortality. Your conciousness never leaves the entity, and you can be given a new body when this one dies.

I think the best kind of system would be a system where humans are controlled by one AI entity, all with chips in their brains. This way, there is no crime, there is no laziness, there is no unhappiness. People don't feel like their freedom is being imposed upon, because they want to do what the entity tells them, due to pleasure/pain impulses.

Well, I meant the receptor that HIV latches onto, and the reason I stated the notch receptor, was because it has been effectively extracted and purified, which makes me believe that it's possible to extract and purified the CD4 receptor, or whatever the receptor is that HIV latches onto.

I know this is a dumb question, but how do you conjugate/combine proteins? The reason I wanna know, is that I need a large quanity of a very expensive antibody for a piece of research I am doing. If I can find out how to conjugate proteins then, I can simply acquire the original substance, conjugate it to a viral protein, and then make a sub-type vaccination, and produce antibodies from that. Could anybody tell me?

I believe there should be free us of steroids, after all, isn't sports all about entertaiment? If someone wants to destroy their body through the use of steroids, let them, we should simply not provide free medical care though.

1.5 more months of high school and ill graduate. I can't say I am smarter than any of yall, but I do plan on becoming smarter, through the use of myelin inhibitory factors, and neurosteroids. I have done alot of research(9 months worth) and hypothetically it should work.

I believe that neural regeneration can occur if three major factors are taken care of. 1) Myelin inhibitory factors(can be taken care of with myelin inhibitory factor antibodies, or the usage of GAP-43) 2) Notch signaling(which is heavily used for celluar differenitation, and can be downregulated by eliminating sex hormones. There is also some ancedotal evidence that the MAP-K pathway could downregulate it. And it can also be downregulated by a presenilin-gamma secretase complex antibody) 3) Neurotrophic factors(which area necessary for both the proliferation, and the survival of neurons. Proliferation must occur naturally, and the survival of neurons while migrating must also be taken care of.) I believe I have the solution to the problem, and will communicate it's solution via e-mail or private messaging(if this works, then for legal purposes, I need not to have it publicly displayed.) Essentially, theres enough information here to give the general idea, but not enough to render me inaccessible to patent rights if I succeed(which I eat, breath and sleep this, night and day).

Your probably right about it not being localized in any one area. However, I do believe with the capacity to regenerate the brain we could begin to restructure the brain to solve many of the problems. I believe that if certain parts of an autistic brain were enlarged, it would probably eliminate some if not all of the symptoms of autism. It may take more than one area, but I believe that it's possible.

The underlying problem of homelessness is(I think) usually some sort of neurological deficiet. If we used NOGO-A antibody, progesterone, and melatonin, we could cure the majority of neurological deficiets, and those we couldn't we could simply provides homes for with the left over excess funds. If everybody could be rehabilitated and put back on their feet, then we wouldn't have to worry about people being homeless anymore.

How stupid were you when you were a kid? Could you really make decisions that were smart? Unless you were born like Gregory R. Smith, you really didn't know what was good for you when you were little. Most little kids are stupid, I know I was. What's the likelyhood that the child will regret it? Children can't really decide for themselves what's best for them. That's what parents are for. If the parent consents, it's still usually wrong, because usually the parent would be consenting for money. It would be like, if you were in a coma, and someone decided to have a good time with you. Or if you were drugged up, and you decided that everything was a-okay, and that the rapist was perfectly fine, during the time you were drugged up. That's what a kids conciousness is like, sweet, innocent, maleable, and not that bright. A child can be abused so easily, and it's so easy to convince them that they have not been abused, even when they have, that we MUST have laws to protect those who cannot protect themselves. Not only do our laws, and ethical standards have to be adjusted to what would be the hypothetical right situation, but they have to be adjusted to what possible abuses could occur due to that law. Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong, even when you put the legal boundries on there. There will still be violations. So you have to make it extremely strict in order to compensate for that.

I think it would help our civilization if dead beat dads were castrated. I don't have a dead beat dad, but I have known alot of people who have had dead beat dads, and if we just castrated them all, it would solve alot of problems. If someone can't take care of one child, then someone probably can't take care of two. It would also be nice if this were done to rapist, however, I think that since girls can call rape when they actually haven't, a more reversible treatment should be imposed. They should still be made incapable of reproduction, don't get me wrong, just, they should be able to, if they are proven innocent, to keep their genitalia. What do yall think?
