  2. Hi, first of all I don't know where should I post this. .sorry..but this is really important.(this is not a homework) I will have a debate next week and this will be my topic... I already have ideas but I need more.. Something which will show that money is important than love I just want to know what do you think about this.. THanks for sharing!   3. Calculate the mass of impure KOH needed to make up 1.20 L of 0.60 mol/L KOH(aq)? Assume the impure KOH is 84% KOH by mass and 16% water. mimpure KOH=?...........84% VKOH=1.20L CKOH=0.60 mol/L H2O=16% I tried to do this but i don't think this is right, I don't know what should I do first... nimpure KOH=m/M= 84/56.1056 = 1.497 mol nH2O= m/M = 16/18 = 0.89 mol How to solve this??

  5. Thats what I did (above), I calculated for the "t" but it says on the problem "Calculate the times at which the water level is at 18m during the first 24 hours." so it means that there's more solution... but i don't know how to find the others.

My solution: I found the cos equation: H(t)=-6cos(π/6t)+16 then.. Let π/6t=Θ 18=-6cosΘ+16 18-16=-6cosΘ Θ=1.230959417 Let Θ=π/6t π/6t=1.230959417 Then I don't know what's next....

  11. hmm..... What should I write then? Is it the observations that can be seen which indicates wether a gas is dissolved or the the explanation why it is dissolved in pure water?? Or proof that will make this observations and explanations true???? I'm really mess up with this lab,,

  13. yes, I think so.. My teacher just gave us the lab paper, and all the data were already there. We did not conduct the experiment.This question bothers me. I already read my book but I don't think its related to the topic. How can I answer this if the questions are so confusing? I don't know what is it really asking. *I am thinking about my teacher's examples like the soda pop, carbon dioxide is dissolved. The bubbles and the fizzing of the opened can indicates that the carbon dioxide is dissolved. NOT sure about this.
  14. What assumption must we make about the dissolving of a gas (like N2(g), O2(g), CO2(g), NH3(g)) in PURE water for the solubility evidence to be valid? Bubbles are formed in a liquid solution. I need to come up with two or three more. I will, if the fish is smarter than you are.

  18. It depends on the person. Some people with "satisfaction" *(I don't know what's the right term) among themselves would like the same people with the same features like theirs. But some people may like others because its new in their eyes (like they were amazed because of different thing/people that are new). There are plenty of reasons why we like something and it depends on each individual.

  20. really?? Hmmmmmm....... but my teacher said that we need to change the cupric chloride into a hydrate, and after we change it, we will predict the products. Also she mentioned that the iron chloride will become hydrate if the reaction occurs. That's why I'm confused. we did not any water, its already in aqueous solution when my teacher gave it to us..
