We need Freedom, Air, Water, Food and Shelter !
Klaynos replied to Commander's topic in General Philosophy
I prefer not to live without my mobile phone, is that a basic need? I think some firm definition of basic need needs to be devised before we can decide what falls within or without. I'd consider the most basic to be what you need to not die. -
We need Freedom, Air, Water, Food and Shelter !

In not sure freedom is a need in such a fundamental way as food or water. Feudal systems existed fur centuries and people survived. -
This is why I asked my still unanswered question about what he means by colour. I think including what he means by white light is also probably relevant at this point.
-
That would depend on the spectral response of those 7. If each one only overlapped substantially with its neighbours in frequency space then you would need 7.
-
Most people these days can do it with their phone. The biggest site online has a free option.

Your final word doesn't follow from the others.

How basic do you want to go? If you understand gates all you need is a lot of dominoes... https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domino_computer

Could you please answer the question, what is colour? There are several possible answers to this as it's not really a scientific term and I want to know what definition your using, don't just use a dictionary that won't help us here.

It's probably best to start with some kind of arduino starter kit.

Things I've done include garage parking systems, geocaching games, quiz games, and door bells. In all I've spebt something like £150. Including electronics, tools, boxes etc...

I've done quite a lot with arduinos. They're very adaptable is you've got a bit of imagination and is pretty cheap (compared to my other hobby of photography). I tend to buy my kit from China. Arduinos use c mainly but people have written lots of varied compilers, nor sure about pascal.

I can only echo these points.

No. You didn't you put together some apparently random words. This Isn't answered by this At all It shows a complete lack of understanding of what heat is. Heat isn't a thing. Your answer makes no sense.
-
You've still not answered my question. Answering questions is a requirement of this forum.

There is rarely any point in trying completely unfounded experiments. To do them well takes time, energy and money. You'd need at least a back of the envelope calculation showing how big the effect you're going to see is. Science isn't just a random process. It is the mathematical modeling of the universe and the testing of those models (numerically). You've still not answered my question. (Autocorrect fixed)

! Moderator Note Reintroduction of closed topic. Which is still flawed as explained by the other members.

Heat is an energy transfer. You have not answered the question. Please try again. I'm likely to follow up with asking for a mathematical derivation so we can have at least an order of magnitude as to the size if the effect.

Why do you think cold ensembles would be influenced by an electric field?

High global temperatures, but more snow???
Klaynos replied to Elite Engineer's topic in Earth Science
Some places will get colder on the surface. In general extreme events will become more frequent and more severe. That's the consensus I've seen. -

Food with more than 1 Calorie that does not start from the color green
Klaynos replied to 737mechanic's topic in The Lounge
So the question is "what am I thinking"? I'd consider a non terafirma food chain. -
Whilst you are right it is possible to tell if the story is self consistent it is difficult if not impossible to accurately compare with experimental results. You said the maths would come in 3d models on a computer. This computer would need the maths built into it though. If I were you I'd at least look up what Bignose has suggested. Thus far you seen significantly better than a lot of people who come here with similar posts. I will say that maths is the foundation rock of modern science it's impossible to do it without that rock.

Why do people need fast/strong computers
Klaynos replied to silverghoul1's topic in Computer Science
Photo editing Data processing Those are the two reasons I regularly push desktops.
