About Me
My primary interest is to understand the nature and origin of human consciousness. This required more general knowledge in areas of physics, astronomy, biology, neuroscience, and psychology, so I've studied and worked in those fields. Half a century after beginning the project I put my theories into a book, titled Digital Universe -- Analog Soul, available from me or on amazon.com. A description of content and a range of reviews are available there-- please read the positive ones!
In this book I describe a comprehensive theory about the beginnings of things that is entirely different from conventional ideas and beliefs. The book truly integrates science and theology, but at the cost of requiring idea-adjustments to both fields. It explains the several forces behind biological evolution, integrating classical Darwinism with a new idea involving limited genetic engineering performed by a variety of sentient entities.
Perhaps its strongest science-level contribution is its explanation of dark energy, a recent discovery that has been labeled "the greatest mystery of 21st century physics." Its theological contribution is a physics-based definition of the "soul," which is integrated with the dark-energy concept to explain consciousness. Ultimately, the book offers an entirely new understanding of human nature and purpose. That's a promise.
There's a little physics in this book, but nothing to fear. It is carefully explained at the non-science level, thanks to my editor who did not even take HS algebra but after reading the book is now interested in physics.
The book is politically incorrect, not written to make friends. Nonetheless, I would love to connect with individuals who are intrigued by its implications and have some active mathematical expertise.
Comments from readers of "Digital Universe -- Analog Soul" that may be allowed on this forum are welcome and will be addressed. I get plenty of negative trash-talk from nitwits who have not actually read the book but dislike the very idea of it (including some amazon.com reviews) and will not reply to them, except to recommend that they read before whining.
Thank ypu for your curiosity.
