Your memory isn't going. Its confusing because I sing in church every Sunday and as a member I'm very involved in church activities along with my dad. The priest has been a grandfather to me and I like him a lot. Although I'm very much a christian like girl and intend to stay that way, I just don't believe in the god of the bible, the trinity, or any of it. So I'm an atheist. The problem is that its my problem, not theirs. If I told the truth I would hurt my dad, the priest and the little kids who look up to me and I can't do that. Shrek I've read your entire post and I just want you to know that I am 18, an atheist, and moral. I don't drink, smoke, do drugs, or any other bad thing. Being a theist or an atheist doesn't determine what kind of person you are. Being a fanatic does. There are religious fanatics as well as genocidal fanatics. Either way it doesn't work. I'm sorry, but I don't believe what you say in your post. For example, if I was a tiny alien that landed here, I would find a snowflake to be something that an intellegent being designed. Externet..... I only use batch files to backup my personal files or run some personal tasks. If all you want to do is remove temporary internet files, and other stray junk, just download "ccleaner" from here. Its freeware (you don't have to pay for it) I have this program and use it often and it deletes cookies, temp files, history, etc. The program may load yahoo toolbar which you can uninstall later if you wish. Ccleaner is a great tool and also emptys the "index.dat" file that you can't delete. http://www.pcworld.com/downloads/file_description/0,fid,24149,RSS,RSS,00.asp Another great program I use is "Spybot" which is also freeware. It finds spyware/adware on your computer and blocks it from working. So far, it has isolated 2200 spyware files on my computer and has them locked. One time my dad and I drove to a town that I instantly recognized as someplace I've visited but in reality it was the first time for both of us. I remembered the church steeple, the street, and the statue at the rotary. Some time later, walking thru the mall in my town, I came upon a postcard of the town we visited and it had the exact same image on it. I've gone into that store many times and thats where I got the mental image from. Bee

A batch file is the easiest way and can also be placed in the Windows XP environment variable so it runs automatically at boot up. I have a batch file I made called "backme" that when I type it in a dos window it backs up all my personal files to a zip file and burns it to a dvd disk and verifys the burn. And yes, its created in notepad or any other wp. Its really easy and kind of fun. Bee

I didn't finish it, but from what I read I thought it was very nice and I will finish reading it later. A problem I see though, is that it doesn't flow well. You use too many periods resulting in choppy sentences and way too many "Jasons" and "Rebeccas". You can fix this easily by joining some together and use some commas to make compound and complex sentences. Bettina

Although very few here have implied I'm a nut case, I still rather come here and be called a "nut" than go to a physco/psychic place and be accepted. Those places always lead you down the mystic path and thats not for me. A few months ago I told my dad I wanted to stop seeing the doctor because he does nothing for me. In short, the doctor told me that I needed to stay. Why? because some people like me kill themselves. Geez, I've been down the dark path many times and sick over the sink many times but never did I ever think that. My dad has a lot of money and I think he just wants it. Although, I will admit, his medication does help me from getting sick. I will give him that. Sabbath......The sensitivity, feelings and vibes are still there and I forgot to mention animals. I get it from them too. The anger you get is something I have yet to experience. I get angry when reading about pedophiles but its more a normal reaction that everyone gets and I haven't attached that to any of my triggers. As far as friends are concerned, I love mine. I don't think being female is the lone marker and having no mother led one doctor to claim that was my problem. Out of the three doctors I've been with not one believes what I'm telling them. Anyway, I do jog, eat chocolate, eat good meals, try not to view bad things, and do admit that my doctor doesn't want me to discuss any of this here which is something I have yet to obey. I know I'm stuck with this, I can't suppress it fully, and I know it will be with me the rest of my life. So.... if a mental case knows she's a mental case, is she a mental case? Afganistan is much better now than it was before Nato invaded it. It was the most supressive human rights regime ever seen in modern times. I won't go into specifics here, but I'm glad we invaded it and set the women and girls free. Iran was on the march toward a bomb even before the middle east turmoil. Maybe we just sped it up a bit but the bomb was always being sought. Allah wants the bomb, and Israel is the reason. Yes, everything is messier, but change never occurs without a mess or a cost and change had to be done. For the middle east to continue on building terror camps, tyrants, and dictators, would eventually destroy the modern marvels that civilized countries have built. I voted for other. If the universe should reverse itself and crunch then its an oscillating universe and life will begin all over again. If it does not reverse and simply uses up all its fuel, burns out, keeps expanding until all the known and unknown particles decay, we will end up with a huge, dark, cold, void. When NATO requested the Taliban to turn over Bin-Laden and his group, they refused to do it and also said they would protect him because the Taliban hated us too. This is the reason we invaded them and this is the short of it. I have no idea where you are getting your heavily biased incorrect information from. Its surpising to me that you don't tie in the invasion of Afganistan as a response to the world trade center destruction (Bin Laden, the Taliban, etc) since most people do and this response included all NATO countries. You should read more about that. Do you think that the WTC was a Bush plot too? I agree with you here. This was not the reason for the invasion as stated above. Yes, I do because I see it every day. The beheadings, the suicide bombings, the targeted killing of little kids and women. The stoning, the blowing up of schools, killing teachers, etc etc. All this is terror.

Do you have any valid links that would support that remark? Its not what I've learned in class, not in any news bulletins, any magazines I've read, or anywhere that says we went into afganistan, for example, to "get their oil". Also, I don't think you know anything about the reasons we went into afghanistan. Somehow, I believe that star under your name does not apply here. Bettina

My answer couldn't have been said better than Jim. Think of each of those words. They carry their own deep meaning. I can't get inside the mind of the child murderer, but I certainly have the ability to act out what that little girl went through. Its my all time number one problem and its sickening sometimes and hard to forget. I take each death personally. Something else struck me too. My dad, our neighbors, and my friends at school all think like me when it concerns a little girl. Not one of them wants to spare the murderer. I want to know why the science forum members are of a different mindset. Is it because you are smarter, or is it because you all have less empathy? What is the difference that separates us? The child killers that I want to see put to death have already admitted guilt. They have been convicted based on their admission, DNA testing, security cameras, Semen stain testing, and a host of other tests that prove guilt beyond a shadow. They have admitted kidnapping, raping, torturing, beating and killing an innocent little girl purely for self gratification, and in one case, burying the little girl alive while she was still in shock. Some seek big thrills in life. These people are without feelings or remorse and to them a childs life is meaningless. Just a piece of flesh they can have a good time with and cast it away when done. One person called having sex with a little girl the "ultimate sexual experience". Then, when caught, have three meals a day delivered to your cell, free medical care, TV, etc etc. Well, I want them to pay the ultimate price for destroying that life. I want them to feel what the victim felt, to show them that their life means nothing to me either and I won't shed a tear. I can respect those of you who are against capital punishment for the variety of reasons you've stated because I am like that too. But not a child killer. I will never understand and never respect that at all. Bee

If he is the one who did it then I want him to die as soon as possible. I wouldn't care if he had a tough life or was beaten himself. I just want him to die and I want the people who loved her to help in his execution. Then I want him cremated, his ashes placed in a one foot diameter lead ball and dropped into the Marianas trench.
