Ok....in one of Blikes latest challenges, the question was about Logic and Emotion. The only answers were I agree or I disagree and I said "I disagree". Others enhanced the answer by adding the word "Strongly". I (grrrrrrrrr) tried to look for a way to change mine so I could add that word too, but I can't. Now.....does it make a difference in who is selected if the answer is made to look stronger? I don't care if I'm not selected, I just want to know. Bettina

Well, I gave up with the balloon idea. I had them all take a deep breath and blow into the balloons, but they all were pretty much the same, and I didn't have a good way to measure the diameters....coupled with the fact that they weren't interested enough. So, we filled the rest of the balloons with water and had a fight. When I came home, I found this which pretty much explains it all. The book that is mentioned: "Road to Reality". How "heavy" is it. Could a normal person understand it or would I be wasting my money. Amazon doesn't have it so you can view some pages. And....could you tell be what some good books about the universe are? Something understandable. Geez...no baby universes either Bettina

No...it isn't nice. I think your just into young girls and wouldn't surprise me if you pushed your "requirement age" to 12. Take it from me, your going to have a big problem with dads. When I was 14 I was getting hit on by seniors calling my house. My dad was incensed to say the least. I could feel his blood pressure climb. He even reported the boys to the high school counselor. I can't imagine what he would have done if it was you calling. Bottom line, you don't sound very intellegent at all. Bettina

I made all the kids float today as a test. I had 7 of them and 5 float easily. The other two just can't. I had a helper with me so I concentrated on the two. They still struggle (struggle to stay afloat...not panic) even when I'm holding them from sinking. None of them looked like they had more fat than the others....all pretty lean and the same height. The two that can't are both boys if that makes a difference. Tommorrow I'm going to have them all blow into balloons to see if the other 5 have more lung capacity, only I'm not sure how to measure it. I'm betting on that. I will let you know. Bettina

I work at the park teaching little kids to swim, play tennis, etc. In the pool, I have them floating on their backs for example. Two same size kids. Holding there breaths, one floats easily but the other struggles. No matter how much air he takes in he has a tough time. Why? Bettina

In those few years waiting for you to "read my mind", I would have found someone else with less stringent requirements. Someone who would take me as I am....a friend and a lover... and live happily ever after with me. And I can "pass over you"....you would never know. In all seriousness, I thought I understood you in the beginning, but the more you posted, the more I saw a one-dimensional person. I feel sorry for you. The right girl will come along some day, but you won't trust her. You will have too many doubts and questions, and I think she will drop you in a hearbeat. Yes we can....we are very clever at hiding things. In fact, Its because we are "people" that we can lie so good....Think of this. Suppose you went out with me, and I already was "experienced". I could "fake it" and you would never know....You would never be able to read my mind either....Never, ever. I could pass any lie detector test because I would hold back any emotion....no presperation. I would pass the test with flying colors. We are the best fakers in the world. You will never know... You would lie in bed thinking you are with the girl of your dreams....your soulmate in life...absolute perfection, but instead, you are in bed with a master liar......faking it all the way, so you would never know. One day you would come to me and beg me to marry you and I would say YES!.....So we marry and have children......We are very happy together and we tell each other how much every day. We are madly in love. We are a great family. But one day when you least expect it, I would tell you the truth. That I was with other boys before you. I was young, inexperienced, and was with another inexperienced boy. In fact, one of them said to me "To have fun with girls, any kind of girl that I will be happy to accept. But in love, I need a honest girl. I am looking for a romantic stable love. I just don't want to be a playtoy of a girl, I want to be something on her. I want to enjoy some of her only advantage. Well.....I was that girl.....But it didn't work out because he wanted to try something new with someone else.....and someone else.....and someone else.
