Hi Everyone, I have a question, I have a set of protein and a compound, and i pretend to study what is the best strategy for modelling the interaction between them ( protein and compound). Any suggestion? I though about some docking studies but i would like to hear for some extra opinions. Thanks, R.

Hello Researchers and Science Lovers, My problem of today involves mitochondria. Specifically mitochondrial metabolism. I have a compound that i believe disrupts mitochondrial metabolism. However im short of ideas at the moment. I could use oxygen electrode for some predictions but what about proteins..How can i study this "disruption" of metabolism studying proteins involved in it as well? What your suggestion for proteins to look? How can i know this compound disrupts mitochondrial metabolism? Thanks everyone. I hope i get some answers.

Hello everybody, My question is this: Imagine that you guys had a mitochondria(s) and a recently new discovered compound. How would you do to see if this new compound acts within the mitochondria? How you would know if this compound is, for example, inhibiting the electron transport chain? or destroying mitochondrial membranes? How to see if the compound acts or not in the mitochondria. Thanks
