I know 5 friends this year that died with cancer !! Also when the NDP leader Jack Layton in Canada died with cancer and rich man like Steve Jobs and man like Patrick Swayze that leaves you in shock how primitive the health care is. Also disease like motor neuron disease , amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) ,MS, Parkinson's, strokes or spinal cord injury and disease like HiV and autoimmune diseases. All despite many drugs and vaccines in the late 19 century and early 20th century using a blindfold approach in baement of your home lab.All these fancy powerful computers and better understanding of the human body and chemistry and nice state of the art lab with army of chemists and scientists working on the problem. With little drugs coming out there now. I hear three theories explaining slow down. 1.government retriction , once a chemists finds a computer model that shows results and you doctor prescribes medication add 10 to 15 years to it.Alll running lab rats tests ,clinical trials and testing. You wont it faster , have people sign up for guinea pigs and lower the testing and you will get 5 year mark than 10 to 15 year mark. 2.The easy diseases have cure and now on to the hard to cure diseases. 3.pharmaceutical incentive conspiracy. More profit making dugs to finght problems they know and easer than speding millions dollars on mystery diseases they don't know hoe to cure.

The prospect of mind-reading technology has moved a step closer after scientists established the first brain-to-brain connection. Using electrodes implanted in the brains of two rats, one rodent was able to pass information to another in a cage thousands of miles away – albeit without knowing it was doing so. The experiment, by researchers from Duke University in North Carolina, is the first direct communication link between two minds. Previous studies had shown that visual and tactile information could be transferred between a brain and a computer, for example allowing amputees to control prosthetic limbs, but the latest research represents a significant advance. Although the connection was extremely basic, it raises the prospect of more complex devices that could one day allow people to read each other’s minds. What is happing is doctors are giving out antibiotics like candy and what is happing is the antibiotics are killing the good germs that fight off the bad germs and now we got bad germs that are hard to kill .So now they have to find new antibiotics to kill these new germs that would not be problem with good germs has they would kill it.

Why are scientists seemingly reluctant to accept new ideas?
nec209 replied to Hypercube's topic in The Lounge
Why hot topic like anti-gravity ,wormholes ,warp drive ,levatation is like asking cave man explain logic gates works and CPU . That is why know one has even pip dream idea on board on even if this real or not or even going about this on to see if this can even be real.- 124 replies

His program shows the problem !! He never is saying this is the problem and this is what you have do. In the end it up to how the person who sees these programs and say to them self may be this is the problem and this is what we have to do.
