I have been given the task of calculating cooling time for an extruded steel rope running thru a water through at a certain feet per minute speed. I have been researching heat transfer formulas, but cant seem to find one involving time although i vaguely remember there being one from Physics classes years ago. Can anyone help me with the correct formula i should use for this?
