Hi, the location of the growth hormone receptor gene for Bos Taurus (bovine) is 20q17. This can be found in the National Center for Biotechnology Information (NCBI). The ID for this gene is GenBank: AF044258.1.
I do not know of any referenced diseases associated with a dysfunctional GHR in Bos Taurus however I think it would be safe to assume it would be highly associated with in the myogenesis process (formation of muscle tissue).
