If time permits try and learn the basics of what they are doing(ideally from another source). You will then be able to ask more relevant questions and have a better understanding of their responses.

I think the episode of Jesus and the money changers has some historical validity at least. Archaeological and written evidence of money exchanging at least occurring there. I can't help but wish that ancient people would have left us better records. Our own descendents are probably going to be deluged in contrast.

There is basic longevity and anti radiation work going on. To my knowledge non genetic means appear more practical. Metabolism is a biggie different means of surviving desication another. The closest would probably be some of the new treatments which work via correcting DNA. Most of what we can do is pretty minor though.

I'm actually independent. Have to take a less biased view for forecasting purposes though. If you see something moving statically normally, it is likely to keep on doing so. I'd like events to play out differently but just don't see it happening

The two I know from local elections, Rubio and Jeb weren't too out there, though personally I still disagree with a number of their positions. Since about the 80's there has been a general trend for presidents to be reelected to a second term. http://www.jjmccullough.com/prezidents.htm Trend would probably go back further if external factors hadn't impacted events(deaths, assassination, scandal). At the 4 year midpoint though, better candidates have a rational reason to hold off on running. Obviously this could(and probably does) result in a self-fulfilling prophesy... At any rate we should see better Republican candidates during the 2016 election. The race is really going to depend on how the Democrats play things.

Country. Control generally cycles after a set number of years. Candidate really doesn't need any qualities besides not being a total wingnut(YOMV) and Republican. I'm wondering what would actually happen to your poor extremity. I don't think you are supposed to be able to 'know' where an event horizon is, but have to imagine that the physical damage would be a clue when you've reached past it.

Insulating foam could work. Not sure on exact ratings but most home improvement stores carry canned versions. If you have the resources to create and maintain a vacuum that would work even better.

We're kind of due. Personally I'm not really thrilled by most of their stances on the issues. At least one of them stands a good chance of winning provided there aren't any major fumbles. I know the GOP has been working to limit the primary infighting, so we'll have to see how that strategy plays out.

There is no single denominator of zero. ie. 0/n = 0 n is undefined or to put it another way it equals everything and anything simultaneously, except for zero. When you divide by zero, you have to multiply by n; leaving you with an undefined result.

Plants came about from a photosynthetic bacteria taking up residence inside one of our distant relatives. Just went from there. Cell walls are probably the best known adaption but there are a host of different adaptations out there. I don't know going forward what will happen. I know from some of the Mars testing, plants require more water in a higher concentration of CO2. So adaptations to maximize water intake/retention might be a thing. It is possible they might evolve to start retaining oxygen too, if oxygen becomes really scarce. Though I doubt it'll get that bad.

IMO blimps would be the way to go. Expense could be offset by mobility and the ability to operate within a different economic-legal sphere. The World ship is probably the closest example we have today of a mobile residential community. Makes for an interesting study.
