  1. Dandelion Wine
  2. Can make salad and tea out of them.
  3. One clock would appear to be going either slow or fast.
  4. I'm hoping they updated the rules. This was awhile ago now. I read it as largely intentional. These were shirts he had made rather than innocently purchased off the rack and he was provided an "out" from any legal proceedings. I think I read the mall dropped the charges, but at any rate feel the officers acted reasonably. http://www.nytimes.com/2003/03/07/nyregion/mall-case-creates-antiwar-celebrity.html
  5. Not really... Should say I presently work in Security(not a mall, though having a seaway would be awesome) and we're just enforcing whatever our own bosses tell us(provided it is within the law). I've seen plenty of arbitrary rules that make little to no sense and change at the drop of a hat. Just a job. Really don't care personally. We'll ask politely, try to reason with someone and if all else fails get the cops involved. As long as we've acted legally and decently in attempting to enforce the rules, we are in the right. Half the time we ourselves think a rule is stupid, but have neither the authority nor frankly the time to debate the matter. We've had protesters out before and likely well again. Most are pretty knowledgeable in terms of knowing exactly how far they can go in exercising their rights. Decent folk. How it is supposed to be. Not people getting trespassed off or hauled away in handcuffs. We don't want the negative publicity, you don't want to spend time in a cell with "Bubba". Yeah, I went looking for it, there is just so much out there associated with "The Donald" that I have no desire to shift through.
  6. Very nice
  7. Target confirmed. Operation Strike Out is a GO!
  8. Probably doesn't apply. Depends on how the location is routinely used. Do you have a link to the story?
  9. We don't, though if you want a random assertion, that answer is as good as any other.
  10. Mass/energy is decreasing.
  11. Wall? I thought the construction order was for an uncrossable moat...
  12. Think I'm going to have to see it used in drawing to really understand it. Looks decently complex though.
  13. Thank you. Maybe try clipping in conjunction with the y co-ords? something like: <svg height="100" width="100"> <defs> <clipPath id="cirClip"> <circle cx="50" cy="50" r="30"/> </clipPath> </defs> <rect x="0" y="20" width="109" height="100" fill="blue" clip-path="url(#cirClip)"/> <rect x="0" y="40" width="100" height="100" fill="red" clip-path="url(#cirClip)"/> </svg> Might be other, better ways out there though.
  14. What would be considered passing?
  15. TY. Thought it was a fun concept fiveworlds came up with and that it might be cool/useful in terms of converting irregular shapes into charts(logos, maps).
  16. I was able to get it working. The coding for the colors was off creating that static effect instead of solid colors. Actually thought it was interesting if entirely unanticipated. Reminded me of watching static on the TV back in the day. Uses the pixel method. I'm not sure if you could apply it mathematically to an ideal circle. Food for thought. At any rate telling your teacher you can construct segments if she gives you enough little squares is probably not going to fly. https://jsfiddle.net/v2co4cns/
  17. Still working on the 2D...
  18. Yeah, lab burgers would be great. I've read about insects as an option too, though can't imagine eating them myself. Anything for the animals would need to be gradual. Stop breeding them and let population drop before releasing them. Domesticated animals have gone feral before. Cattle in California and Hawaii, for example. Just mind the couple thousand pound bull with the horns... Some turkeys need a helping hand in the bedroom. Guessing nobody is going to continue on a charity basis. Should keep in mind that only some are native species. Whole other can of worms though.
  19. Might not even stop. We use them for leather too. Bones somewhat, not sure of exact figures though.
  20. I think he just means in terms of the fact that they make cobalt available for us. About pricing, which chemical were you referring to?
  21. Ah. Yeah I was thinking Canvas, though I have seen projects that combine their capabilites.
  22. You could do it just based on pixels Get total pixels in a solid circle. Use that to find your individual segment pixel counts. Then itterate on through the pixels in the solid circle creating the segments as you go.
  23. No real difference. Light speed limit applies to your lamp as much as it does distant stars.
  24. Headloss is energy lost as the fluid flows. Friction and bends in the pipe are big sources. Might help to imagine something more viscous is in the tank instead of water.
  25. Fruit bats are thought to have been the source. Watch what you eat.
