Scientists and the Research and Development of Weapons

I am collecting data for a research paper I am working on, which relates to scientists (as well as students and just people interested in science and how they feel about their role in the production of weapons. If you all could fill out this short survey for me, that would be a great help

Here's the link: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScJCsO5WEOvYak163vWdQahvC99hfd36RA0H5Dv3Hw-opsMsQ/viewform

I wish the survey was a little more detailed as it touches a very broad and controversial subject but I did fill it out for you.

Be sure to post your conclusions in this thread.

Energy production is a very large part of scientific research.

Controlled energy production is beneficial to mankind as it allows us to do things ( work ).

Uncontrolled energy production is a weapon and allows us to destroy things.

The two are the same ( only difference being 'un', and how we apply it ).
