Light cannot escape from black hole = Escape velocity of black hole is greater than the velocity of light = Anything that falls from the space into the black hole hits the black hole with a velocity greater than the velocity of light. Isn't that possible?

This is a classical example of an incorrectly posed question.

Light falling radially into a black hole reaches and crosses the event horizon at....the speed of light.

No massive object can reach the speed of light, so, any massive object reaches and crosses the event horizon at...less than the speed of light.

Note that this is true, but it is not the reason that nothing can escape from a black hole.
