Darthbored Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 A cat with a long tail and brown with white spots is crossed to a tailless black female. All kittens have medium length tail and are black with white spots. Predict the probability of the following in the F2: Medium, brown, spotted Long, black, solid Tailless, brown, solid Long, black, spotted So this is a curveball question for me because I have only solved trihybrid crosses with only 2 alleles, this one has 3 alleles for the tail length (Long, medium, tailless) so how would I set this up and solve it?
hypervalent_iodine Posted January 30, 2017 Posted January 30, 2017 ! Moderator Note As this is homework, you will need to show what you have done and where you are stuck so that we can assist. I have hidden another post in this thread which attempted to give the answer, as doing so in these situations is not in line with our policy.
