Schuller
Hello, Got two quick questions, I cannot find any answer in the internet: 1. Can you divide meson into single quarks? 2. What will happen if you are going to provide more and more energy to meson? Thank you for any feedback!
Sensei
Mesons are extremely unstable. Decay within fraction of second, some have half-life 10^-20 s, some other 10^-10 s.. It's limiting what experiments can be done with them.
Strange
1. Can you divide meson into single quarks? 2. What will happen if you are going to provide more and more energy to meson? You cannot separate the quarks in mesons or any other hadrons. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Color_confinement

You tend to get more mesons, and possibly other particles, e.g. in a collision or some other interaction. (If it's just KE, nothing will happen)
