raahul singh Posted March 7, 2017 Posted March 7, 2017 Hello FriendsHow are you doing?I manufacture Playing Cards On both Paper and Plastic I need help as I am receiving a lot of complaints regarding durability in my Plastic Playing cardsWe print on Rigid PVC one side is matt[ smooth side] and other side is grain [ rough side]The complaints i receive is that the ink wears off after 1 day usage to protect the ink we use Water based Coatingwe do not know much about the science involved but over hereThe issue i feel is adhesion of the inks with the substrate, If someone here can help me out with information on how to improve my durability It will be of a Huge helpThanksRaahul Singh .

Do you apply the coating to a whole sheet of cards before cutting them out or are the cards cut out before you coat them?
