theres to many things to even start. Put Mg in CuSO4 solution. Put zinc in iron sulfate sol. Add ammonium chloride to calcium carbonate and heat in appropiriet aparatus to get ammonia gas. Dissolve the gas in water. You can use any WEAK base in place of CaCO. NaCO should work fine.

you could add potassium iodide to hydrogen peroxide at a store and oxygen would be produced. YOu can heat sodium hydrogen sulfate with nacl- HCL would be produced which u can bubble throo water too make hydrcohloric acid. U can then add mg to ur hcl acid and it would fizz hydrogen. U could add calcium carbonate to hcl and it would fizz co2. U can amke sodium thisoulfate crsytals or a super saturated solution of it. U could thermite copper oxide- add mg powder and light- pow! U could mix magnesium sufate solution and NaCl solutions together- a cool precipetate would form- sudium sulfate. thats all i can think of now

OH, nvm, im thinking coalt oxide.

You can light a piece of Mg and throw it on waer. IT burns in water, takings its oxygen, then the H2 burns.

Use hot water for best results.

Hmmm... looks like someones bought a kids chemistry set :)

question is, what you WANT to do with it?

how about trying your chances with our Great Battery LED challenge :)

lol, this is the best chemistry set a minor can buy in the u.s. Thanks to the patriot act.

Chemistry sets have been that weak looooooooooooooooooong before the patriot act came into effect. Once they realized just how dangerous and toxic many of the 'cool' chemicals were, they stopped putting them in the chemistry sets. Even the sets from the 1980's were weak and pathetic compared to what you could get in the 1950's and 1960's. So while the Patriot Act is a nice thing to just place blame on, the weakness of the chemistry sets took place long before the Patriot Act was even thought of.

even if they do have cool chemicals, they have sooo little u can barely do anyhting at all with them. THats why u make your own chemistry set :) like me
