dakoad Posted April 23, 2017 Posted April 23, 2017 Hello! I was confused by the electrode signs in an alkaline hydrogen fuel cell. I know that in a galvanic cell the cathode is positive, but in an electrolytic cell, it's negative. Isn't a fuel cell a galvanic one? Why is the cathode negative? And how do the electrons move after the redox processes? Thanks a lot, Dan. 1
