Guest gio_seven Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 Hi there!!! With the ongoing rise in perfume prices, I'd really like to know how I can refill an empty perfume bottle (ex. Polo Sport, Acqua Di Gio) without having to break the seal. Can anyone here help me out? Thanks!!! Gio
calbiterol Posted May 31, 2005 Posted May 31, 2005 More importantly, why is it in the modern/theoretical physics forum? There's already a thread on refilling aerosols. Search for it, it's by YT.

Trurl Posted June 11, 2005 Posted June 11, 2005 Here:http://www.scienceforums.net/forums/showthread.php?t=2297 it is. The method is inventive, but sounds dangerous with the boiling water and spray can. Maybe I just read it too fast. If there was some way to puncture the perfume bottle in a rubber seal or around the nozzle maybe you could use a syring and IV and needle to feed the bottle. You could trap perfume in the tube connected to the needle and shut of some sort of valve. But this only works considering you are able to puncture the bottle or area around the nozzle. If the needle doesn't seal the hole because it is plasic use puddy, chewing gum, or epoxy to make a seal. Let us know what you decide.
