I'm writing a lab report for my chemistry class and i was wondering if all names of substances should be capitalized. (I belive they should, but my chem teacher doesnt have them in caps on the lab handout) Please Reply

hm...I usually do; but I don't think it really matters that much in the grand scheme of things.

Chemical names are generally not capitalized.
