Sigmarus Posted July 18, 2017 Posted July 18, 2017 Electricity -What is the clearest way of differing kW(Kilo-watt) and kWh(Kilo-watt/hour)?I get confused sometimes. -Why does atoms in a conductor heat up when gaining enegry from electric charges? Forces and pressure(basic) -How does streamlined shapes reduce air resistance? -Why is the friction produced by frictional force going in different direction of the motion? -How does a spring balance measure friction?(Need a bit of a more simpler explanation) Would appreciate if anyone chip in to help! Watt is unit of power W = kg * m^2 * s^-3. Power is energy divided by time. P=E/t kWh is kilo Watt-hour. When you multiply power by time, result is energy (in Joules as unit in SI) J = kg * m^2 * s^-2. E=P*t Edited July 18, 2017 by Sensei
