redhawk1974
Hello everyone, I would like some advice and opinions on a question. I am in school for an environmental geoscience degree. I have to pick and emphasis and these are my three options. Ecology, GIS, and Physical Science. The school recommends Physical Science saying students need it to pursue a Masters. But I think any of them will allow you to go after a Masters Degree. I think enjoy ecology but I believe the Job market just doesnt exist. I believe there would be more jobs with a GIS background. So Should I go GIS or do Physical science to make sure I can get into a Masters Program?
Klaynos
What does the physical sciences part cover? I've just been the industrial supervisor for someone doing a GIS masters so programs do exist. It's an interesting field with some potential in the growing world of data science.
