NavajoEverclear Posted June 12, 2003 Posted June 12, 2003 If there were alternate universes, there would be infinate of them for every possible random movement of subatomic particles---- eh? Yeah well I don't think there are anyway. But if there are I bet in one of those universes I am not a loser. I wish I was there. (my depression has nothing to do with my paranoa of banning (recently conquered), I'm not THAT kind of a loser.

Yeah well I don't think there are anyway. it is unlikely that things are entirely random like this, even on a quantum level. in each interaction, there will be a finite number of things that can happen (for example, electrons can only spin up or down, and so on), and should the alternate universe theory be true, then a finite number of universes would be spawned from each "random" interaction.
NavajoEverclear Posted June 12, 2003 Author Posted June 12, 2003 oh ok that makes sense too, I just wasn't sure
daisy Posted June 14, 2003 Posted June 14, 2003 I actually live in my own little alternative universe if that helps?
Guy34life Posted June 24, 2003 Posted June 24, 2003 there cant be any other universe because then it would take up space in our universe and weird stuff would happen

Sayonara Posted June 25, 2003 Posted June 25, 2003 Originally posted by MrL_JaKiri Whut? I think he's considering the universe as a classical totality, so that if space exists elsewhere it must by definition belong to 'the universe'.
MiguelBladesman Posted June 26, 2003 Posted June 26, 2003 Uni - verse Alternate....verses.....a horrific violation of grammatical context; therefore impossible
