Vii Posted September 13, 2017 Posted September 13, 2017 Hello! I would really appreciate your help with this question. If a plant has 48 chromosomes, how many linkage groups does it have, if it is a) diploid; b) autotetraploid; c) allotetraploid ? I know that a) is 24 for sure, but how about the other two?
Uncommon Ancestor Posted September 23, 2017 Posted September 23, 2017 I may be wrong, but I'd say b) is 6 and c) is 12. Anyway, that belongs to the Homerwork Help subforum, I fear.
