Hello, it's me Posted September 18, 2017 Posted September 18, 2017 I need a material that's heat-resistant, non-conducting and not too expensive, I'm using it to make a mini jet-engine.
Externet Posted September 20, 2017 Posted September 20, 2017 Something like these crucibles ? ----> https://duckduckgo.com/?q=ceramic+crucible&t=canonical&iax=1&ia=images
Hello, it's me Posted September 20, 2017 Author Posted September 20, 2017 Thanks, I'll see if I can use them.
Plasmick Posted August 31, 2018 Posted August 31, 2018 Stainless steel is a good for building a jet engine housing as well as the combustion chamber I built mine with thermos flasks and a thermos jug I cut them up and riveted them together I used a bunson burner gas jet and twelve blade electric ducted brushless motor from an rc plane I also used a varable esc... it's a metre long with the after burner: works well..! I hope this helps you...
