inverse Posted September 30, 2017 Posted September 30, 2017 ...make collaboration for patenting and/or for writing articles at here this forum?
Tub Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 Hello, inverse. I'm quite new here too so i don't really know, but if you want to, you can just enter your post and the Moderators will let you know if it's OK. Just have a try and see what happens. Good luck.
Lord Antares Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I'm not sure what you mean. What collaboration for patenting? Elaborate. As for articles, as long as they are not advertising some site of yours or are outside science, there is nothing wrong with posting stuff here.
swansont Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 I suspect that collaborating on a patent in a publicly-available forum would likely void the patent, as the discussion might make it prior art. We have rules against soapboxing/preaching with which one has to comply. It's difficult for me to see how you get to a finished paper asca discussion.
Strange Posted October 1, 2017 Posted October 1, 2017 You could form a team of people who want to work on a patent but you definitely do not want to discuss the content of the patent on the forum. Otherwise, as swansont says, the published information will count as prior art and invalidate the patent.
