Science Fair - Measuring Sugar Content with a Laser

Hello,

I had started a science fair project and bought all the needed materials to conduct the project.

However, i've been trying to think of something unique, a twist, to add to the experiment.

Been brainstorming for a while now and I can't think of anything, any ideas?
