Koni Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 I have drawn 2 molecules of triple DNA Bases... Each Base is a DOUBLE-Base... The 6 DOUBLE-Bases connects together in one and only one possible way to make 2 triplets!!!... The 2 triplet Bases could be part of the core of a "TRIPLE Helix DNA" ...
John Cuthber Posted October 22, 2017 Posted October 22, 2017 Is it only me who looked at the last diagrams and thought "Can I have a P please Bob?" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Blockbusters_(UK_game_show) Anyway, it's possible to stick things together like that, but how stable are they compared to the DNA we actually see? (especially once you tag the ribose and phosphate bits on them) Also, what if anything, does it achieve?
Koni Posted October 22, 2017 Author Posted October 22, 2017 It could achieve an alternative to the "DOUBLE Helix DNA" molecule... It could be used to store Information... It could be an "Alien" DNA somewhere out there...
