Ná Nunes Posted November 14, 2017 Posted November 14, 2017 Hello. I extracted the cell wall from yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae in order to get glucan shells. I wonder if this particulate glucan (1,3- »1,6) is capable of forming a gel and in what circumstances. Or only the 1,3-» 1,4 glucans can form gels.
