Hello,

Im confused are these diasteriomers or enantiomers?

A peer said they were enantiomers, but i only can see the possible products as diasteriomers of each other.

Could be clearer about which structures you mean? Diastereomers are compounds that differ in some but not all of their stereocentres, whereas enantiomers differ in all of them. So, if you had a pair of compounds that were (R)(R)(S) and (S)(S)(R), these would be enantiomers. However, the same compound with (R)(S)(R) centres would be a diastereomer of both of them.

oh thanks for checking it out. turns out the GSI didn't know what they were talking about and if anyone was wondering they are diastereomers
