Anthony Morris Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 I've been trying to find chemistry sets for X-mas presents but keep getting references to crystal growing kits. I'm not knocking crystal growing but it's not really the same thing. Any suggestions on key-words? I can not remember the name of the company that made the one I had as a kid. I probably never paid attention to it I'm sure. Any help would be appreciated.
StringJunky Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Try googling 'chemistry lab set' or 'chemistry laboratory set'. Here's two from Best Science Supplies. I don''t know your country to find local ones. https://www.amazon.com/CHEMISTRY-LAB-SET-PROFESSIONAL-EQUIPMENT/dp/B000Z3N07M https://www.amazon.com/Best-Science-Supplies-CHE-395-Professional/dp/B00198BHPE/ref=lp_3018850011_1_13?srs=3018850011&ie=UTF8&qid=1511310098&sr=8-13
Outrider Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Home science tools seem to have a good selection. https://www.homesciencetools.com/chemistry/chemistry-kits/

studiot Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 I got this lot from google lotts chemistry sets, but I think that company has gone the way of all flesh. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=lotts+chemistry+sets&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&dcr=0&ei=1TgVWuDwLIb98wfJ-LngBQ My pick http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-19050342 The Science Museum advert at the top is disappointing as it only offers the usual two fingers to would be purchasers.
