Arthur d. S. Jr. Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Throughout my Researches, I've learned that in the bottom of reality there is a fabric like Subspace formed by Quantum Flutuations. This fabric defines ours and all the Universes existant's rules and qualities of each. Also, lerned about everything being made of vibrating strings that defines the entire reallity, and the vibration of each dictate what universe you live in and the characteristics of it. Apparently, both serve similar porposes in a different way, so I wanted to know: "which of the 'bottoms' is the most 'bottomer'", In other words which one is the most basic shape of reallity? And second question, how do these theoriy pieces bind together to explain reality? Thanks; Arthur
Vmedvil Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 (edited) The Strings Vibrate into subspace, subspace is just a set of sub dimensions within every point of the universe, it can be visualized like this on time-space, which is the large dimensional fabric of space, I would go deeply into manifolds here but you wouldn't understand it, but if you do want to understand it look into Riemann Manifolds, which the strings are basically the Metric Tensor for in M-Theory or Unified String Theory which is a Calabi–Yau manifold , like the Energy Stress Tensor in General Relativity pushes into a hyper domain, This Tensor pushes into a sub domain. Sub Domain (String Theory) "Bend Inward" Hyper Domain (General Relativity) "Bend outward" To Answer your question there is no difference between the two states you stated, they are both the same-thing they cannot be split apart like you are thinking, and don't use the term quantum fluctuations that is something completely different, this is "String Harmonics" Edited December 2, 2017 by Vmedvil 1
Mordred Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 (edited) Good coverage Vmedvil, also very accurate. There is a extremely important key word in your last image that is fundamentally important to understand String theory. Harmonics. So here is a thought experiment lets consider the following. We have two fields. E and B (electric and magnetic) we identified our frequencies on those two fields with wavefunctions. However those waveforms are always consisting of multiple frequencies. (superposition state) regardless of how accurately we measure it. Now if we consider that E affects B then we need to map the connections as well. In order to do so we require extra fields beyond E and B. On these new fields are additional waveforms that affect the waveforms of the E and B fields. Every connection you make between Fields is another field with its own waveforms.. We need extra dimension ( independant variables) and extra gauge groups (organisation tool for symmetry relation, boosts and rotations) to track each and every seperate field we have identified. Hence your higher dimensions which are not seperate universes but are extra field manifolds. Edited December 2, 2017 by Mordred
