mad_scientist Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 (edited) Why does the IQ bell curve in males have more outliers (i.e. extreme values) compared to the IQ bell curve for females where everything is more together? Edited November 26, 2017 by mad_scientist
Strange Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 And how should this affect the choice of who you marry?

John Cuthber Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 In general, men often have more variability in a lot of parameters. It's usually put down to the fact that the Y chromosome doesn't carry spare copies of genes that the X chromosome may carry. There may, of course, be a whole lot of other factors; in particular, the IQ test is skewed every which way but loose.
