I don't think you can - but you can shorten the quote if it is a page long by cutting the middle out. It shows you are answering a specific post without having to copy the lot out. I don't know if that helps at all? I liked it when the posts were numbered too.

That should help since multiquote seems to be automatic (up to a certain time delay I expect)
