ydoaPs Posted July 2, 2005 Posted July 2, 2005 do you like pulp in your orange juice? we asked people at the fair, and only 5 people liked pulp in their orange juice.
-Demosthenes- Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 Pulp is da bomb. It's like eating a really juicy orange! (if you get enough pulp)
NeonBlack Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 Yeah, I get a kind of orange juice that has a ton of pulp, (I don't know the name of it, we don't have any right now) and when you pour it, it almost comes out in chunks. Mix about 1/3 OJ with 2/3 coke (and maybe a little CM on the weekends) When you pour the coke in, all the pulp floats up to the top and you just eat the pulp right off the top of the glass. Everyone thinks I'm crazy.
YT2095 Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 if I wanted a meal with my drink, I`de just eat an Orange. I Vote No also if I`m cooking with it though, it doesn`t matter then, but not for a drink.
Lance Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 I like pulp too, it's like drinking an orange. Everyone thinks I'm crazy. I'll second every one.
Lance Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 do you like pulp in your orange juice? we asked people at the fair' date=' and only 5 people liked pulp in their orange juice.[/quote'] I think I'm seeing a trend here: intelligent people are more likely to like pulp in their orange juice.
d22k Posted July 3, 2005 Posted July 3, 2005 i uess that makes me as dumb as a post =( ive always had a "thing" about bits and "dirt" in my drinks, food was never a problem, but i still cant share a bottled drink or can with anyone, so the pulp in the juice just makes me feel sick =(

d22k Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 ditto on both counts, I don`t even like Ice in my drinks either. Oddly eough, i like ice, or rather i like to suck on the icecubes when ive finished ^^ and judging by my spelling i AM dumb as a post pulp reminds me of floaties and i don;t like floaties heh heh
SorceressPol Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 I hate pulp. There's something about the texture that drives me crazy. Not a big tapioca fan either.
-Demosthenes- Posted July 5, 2005 Posted July 5, 2005 No pulp is superior. You forgot a comma after "No"
insane_alien Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 pulp rocks! (anyone ever liquidized the whole orange just for the pulp? or am i alone)
the tree Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 pulp rocks! (anyone ever liquidized the whole orange just for the pulp? or am i alone) Yup, I've done that.
Cap'n Refsmmat Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 That might be a bit strong. Oddly, I don't mind bits floating in my lemonade, but I hate pulp in orange juice.
Nicholas Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 Nutrition fact: The pulp from oranges has a special kind of pectin.
ffsjoe Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 I only like pulp in orange juice if its fresh and I've made it, not from the stuff you buy. Weird thing about orange juice and apple juice (bottled) is that its really easy to drink. I can drink half a bottle quite easily in one go.
NeonBlack Posted July 10, 2005 Posted July 10, 2005 joe, do you drink a lot of pop (soda) ? you're probably constantly dehydrated and don't even realize it because the carbonation fills you up before you can drink enough liquid.
ffsjoe Posted July 11, 2005 Posted July 11, 2005 I don't drink much fizzy drinks, but when I drink a can of coke or somthing it is hard to drink much at one time, as you said becuase of the gas.
