lan418
I'm going to attend university of florida this fall. I have taken AP chemistry and i was wondering how fast the class moves and how different it is from what you cover in AP chem. I guess im just worried that i might take the class for an easy class and end up being overwhelm by the unanticipated course. Same questions with the labs with the course. NeonBlack
For me, and I think this is the case in general, you will do the equivalent of a year of highschool chem in about 3/4 of a semester or less.
lan418
So it's basically high school chem and then a little bit more? covered within half of a year
NeonBlack
Right. I only took one semester of college prep chem in highschool and in my freshman general chem class we covered everything from that semester in about half a semester and it was more in depth and more math intensive.
