Externet Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 At ----> https://www.scienceforums.net/search/ At "Search by author" entering a valid username and hitting "Search content" at bottom shows no results, and a message asking for a term. Is that wrong or am doing something wrong ? Or; How to search for all contents of a member in a single forum ?
hypervalent_iodine Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 I have noticed this too, but I’m not sure how to fix it. As an alternative, you can search the member name and search term plus site:scienceforums.net on Google, or you could go to their profile and trawl through their content.
swansont Posted February 17, 2018 Posted February 17, 2018 If you want to see the posts or topics by author, go to their profile. In the black box at the top, click on "see their activity" in the lower right corner. You can then choose to look at posts, or topics they've started. The search function seems to allow only a search of key words by an author, when doing a search by author.

When you're searching using "Search By Author", you also have to enter something in "Search Term" field (don't leave it empty). It'll filter posts made by member of forum, to the one in which he/she mentioned term you're interested in. Edited February 17, 2018 by Sensei
