Butch Posted March 24, 2018 Author Posted March 24, 2018 I have been reading and grasp completely classical fields and mediums... Because I am sure it will come up in my studies, I will ask now... Do fermions have a fermions type of field? If so, all other fields arise from fermion interactions? EM even is a result of fermion field interaction? What about the medium? This seems to smack of aether... Thx for the link, quite informative!

Each fundamental fermion has its own field. 9 minutes ago, Butch said: If so, all other fields arise from fermion interactions? No. Because some fundamental particles are bosons. 9 minutes ago, Butch said: EM even is a result of fermion field interaction? The particle associated with the em field is the photon, which is a boson. 9 minutes ago, Butch said: What about the medium? The fields are the media. Edited March 24, 2018 by Strange
Butch Posted April 19, 2018 Author Posted April 19, 2018 I have come a long way in the past few months! Again, thank you all very much!
