Much Ado Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 Is it possible that photons can not be created inside a black hole, rather than the extreme gravity preventing light from escaping?

The properties of BH's entail more than just not letting photons escape: They swallow everything [including photons] that ventures past what is known as the "photon sphere" at 1.5 Schwarzchild radius all due to extreme gravity.
MaximThibodeau Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 I think that may be different layer in a Black Hole, if it is, then in the core, where the density is extremely high, maybe matter cant sustain the existence of electron or even lepton, so then maybe there will no photon creation. But where those electron (matter) goes before entering the Black Hole, there is certainly light emission. Again, I think that may, but i never went there...
Strange Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 4 hours ago, Much Ado said: Is it possible that photons can not be created inside a black hole, rather than the extreme gravity preventing light from escaping? No. We have a theory that explains why light cannot escape a black hole. This is why we think black holes exist. There is absolutely reason to think that photons cannot be created inside a black hole. 1 hour ago, MaximThibodeau said: I think that may be different layer in a Black Hole ... Unless you have evidence to support this idea it is not science (and is, therefore, pretty meaningless.

I have no evidence of such concept, i was speaking about different density of matter, that could dissociate quarks (maybe), like in the experiment of zero Kelvin where they create sort of quarks soup, if i remember correctly. But that is clearly not a fact, sorry about this, i did not express myself correctly.

mathematic Posted March 26, 2018 Posted March 26, 2018 No one knows what is really happening inside a black hole.

While I agree with that in general, cosmologists and scientists do have a reasonable explanation, based on GR and the laws of physics in general as to what should happen. What I mean by that is that we can logically assume that further collapse is compulsory according to GR, once the Schwarzchild radius is reached, at least up to the quantum/Planck level where GR fails us and which we refer to as the singularity.eg: If this compulsory collapse did not occur, we would not really have the GR type BH, rather a Newtonian Dark Star. And I believe this is supported [the compulsory collapse] by the "dying pulse train" http://www.messagetoeagle.com/dyingpulsetr.php

You should be able to turn your flashlight on.
Itoero Posted March 27, 2018 Posted March 27, 2018 13 hours ago, Strange said: This has so little relevance, you might as well have told us that you can make linguine by thinly slicing courgettes I was actually planning to say that. This what is said in OP: "Is it possible that photons can not be created inside a black hole, rather than the extreme gravity preventing light from escaping" According to the models I presented photons are created by the accretion disc of a black hole. Then a black hole creates photons, just not inside the bh.
